Tiffany stands out because they understand what Women seek which is a romantic fantasy world and a different life from which they currently have. It represents what they wish for and getting a Tiffany Blue box in their hands represents a start towards it all. It's just marketing but done well over the years.
People, I don't think Tiffany & Co. is about snootiness. It is about people who like a gorgeous looking piece of jewellery and at Tiffany's you are guaranteed to find that. I don't think I am anything special wearing Tiffany's and I wouldn't want anyone else thinking that either!!
I do not like that they have Tiffany and Co all over their jewelry. It feels like wearing an advertisement the whole day. I think jewelry should be about the design not the brand.
they actually did not want every age group there and raised their sterling silver jewelry prices 30% to inhibit the tweens from crowding the stores and alienating their traditional affluent customers. Their introduction of the sterling sliver jewelry line and Return to Tiffany has diluted their brand equity. They have obviously made profit this time more important than brand stewardship.

Sterling is .925% silver no matter who makes it. Lot's of nice sterling out there, other than dog tags by Tiffany. Your just buying the name, the quality of the sterling is in the design and there are lots of nicer designs.

Tiffany products are way too overpriced. There are so many other 925 jewelry that are so beautifully designed and well made!
