Regarding the bag: it's not necessarily true. The bag on the right is an older bag. The one on the left is the newer version of the bag. They've added a "T" embossed in the newer bag. As for the boxes, the writing will depend on whether one is buying a bracelet, earrings or a necklace. I've bought a necklace from the store and the box I received was printed in portraits, while earrings and bracelets the box was printed in landscape.
100% correct, I haven’t bought anything from Tiffany in over 10 years and all of my bags look like the one on the right and I know they’re authentic because I bought them when I worked there lol
Funny, when I first saw the two bags I immediately thought the one on the right is authentic. Older Tiffany bags had that blue/green color. Also true of the writing on the box.
I just watched another video and the presenter was showing off her recent Tiffany purchases from Etsy. I was dubious and your video has confirmed that I would never buy sight unseen. Thank-you for an amazingly informative video. Greatly appreciated!!
My first piece from Tiffany’s was 20 years ago- bought from the store. And my bag looked like the one on the right. I’m almost certain that’s just an original old bag. Anyways, back to watching...
The bags were both real. The boxes are all real. The pouches are all real. The only fake thing was 1 bracelet that had broken links. Sometimes the older pieces have the silver wear down but unless its completely broken its not fake.
Hi, Thanks for the video. Curious why toward the end of the video there are two '925" stamps? One reads "NEW YORK 925" on the front side and then "Tiffany&Co.AG925" on the rear? I went to a Tiffany Boutique not to long ago and did not see the "Tiffany&Co.AG925" on the physical store versions
Real silver will turn black to humidity type of weather. As she explains, real silver is heavy. And again, some women just couldnt afford it. When the time comes, women will buy the authentic ones when they can. Thank you for the most detailed information
Ive had the Tiffany ball chain and the oval Return To dog tag for years and years. The dog tag has STER 925 around the top of the chain hole. The serial number starts with M. I believe its older than most due to the omission of the STER 925 around the chain hole on more recent ones. Anyway, I wear it all the time. And for the record, Im a straight guy who loves America, my wife and my truck. LOL. I believe men can enjoy the finer things too. Cheers!
Out of curiosity...how much do you pay someone for a Tiffany toggle necklace (estimate) ? I know I paid about 250 for mine in 2005 and now they cost 800 freaking dollars on the site! Silver btw not gold. I'm sure they sell gold ones too but I figured i'd better make sure and say I mean silver.
Thanks for this video, but i want to see a vintage heart from Tiffany&Co beacause the dimensions can be different to pieces from to today? Maybe the old ones have nothing on the backside?? Please if anyone have tips for me that would be helpful, because my mother gave me an older necklace and told me its not real. No matters if real or not, it looked to heavy in me and the weight also to much for me. i want to sell it, its not my stile i like juwelery from the 1900- 1950ies so... but i musst know if i sell a replica- but its heavy and real silver, i know that for sure but in this case i can only get the silver price, so its much cheapdr than the real ones. maybe i have here a very nice replica;-) Can anybody tell me about the heart?? Where is the 925( up or below- dont froget, i do not mean the new ones!)
People seriously save their Tiffany bags? Why, who cares about the bag. I do wonder how long Tiffany's is going to be around since Millennials, especially in the US are not very interested in paying high premium for a brand name. Not the majority of them anyway. I feel brick and mortar fine jewelry stores are on their way out and everything will be sold on line within the next 10 years, maybe less. Pretty sad though, but the tail end of the baby boomer generation are going to be retiring in the next few years as the top of that generation already has and we all know the baby booms and generation X are the ones that like to buy expensive jewelry.
Where can I sell my immaculate real Tiffany bags and boxes? Lol I didn’t know people can buy them. I have a bunch from my jewelry gifts etc. These on the video are all crumpled. I don’t know anyone who wears those charm bracelets but that’s because I used to be a NY snob
I hot as far as the different colour bags... hagaha pathetic... if you can fake a solid silver tiffany bracelet then I'm sure you can fake the right colour paper. Or just get a genuine bag.. And why say you're only going to show us the obvious fakes.... we already know them.... THEY'RE OBVIOUS !!

Yes this is true, my older bags are like the one on the right.
Well, this is embarrassing for this youtuber/business.😂😂
She even said if it's not tarnishing at all its definitely fake? Ummm what?

Yes I agree. My old Tiffany bag which I got with a purchase from the Tiffany store in Selfridges in London, doesn’t have printing underneath.
I agree. Most of my pieces are at least 15 years old and the bags I received look like the bag on the right.
I agree also. The one on the right is an authentic older bag.
Yeah I got mine at there store 15 years ago and all my bags look like the one on the right.
Agreed. I’ve gotten many Tiffany pieces direct from the store and my bags looked like the one on the right.
The bag on the right is authentic. That's the bag I got when I purchased mine from the boutique.
It HAS to be the camera bc the bag on the right is ABSOLUTELY Tiffany blue. Tiffany blue is that very rich minty blue. Lmaoo
The bags were both real. The boxes are all real. The pouches are all real. The only fake thing was 1 bracelet that had broken links. Sometimes the older pieces have the silver wear down but unless its completely broken its not fake.
I have two bags from the store and they are not embossed. Not sure wether mine are just older or different because i live in Italy.
That #kkuwan bag is definitely hitting different…absolutely gorgeous!❤Great video

The bag on the right is the old bag. Tiffany change the bag a little. They also stopped giving out the snap pouch
When I worked at Bullock's Wilshire, we sold the Tiffany Fragrance, and gave out the bags with the fragrance.

You have a ball gag? 🤷♂️
So clear and helpful, thank you❤️
Great video. Really helps with buying second hand.. Thumbs up.
The imprinted designs on the T & Co bags and boxes are actually T’s 😊
The easiest way to spot a fake is to look at the dead center link. It will be marked with t and co final answer

I paid 275 for mine too....what a joke... my ring i paid 125 for is now 800 too.... I would never pay that much these days...
And also not the person just walking lol 😂

Shes cute!Thanks for the advice.
My bag is the one on the right side. This video is old
The old Tiffany bag, from the 90s, look like the one on the right! I'm more interested in whether the jewelry is authentic then the stupid bag!
I would like to think the price would be cheaper

You could sell them in depop, vinted or ebay or you could post them on social media and see who replies and wants to buy it!
I have one
I have been watching a few yt vids now and I can't believe the Tiffany I bought at fb marketplace for $15 is real 😭
those are some terrible quality fakes your comparing, how do you tell when you compare to better fakes?
So the good fakes are actually real sterling silver
I hot as far as the different colour bags... hagaha pathetic... if you can fake a solid silver tiffany bracelet then I'm sure you can fake the right colour paper. Or just get a genuine bag..
And why say you're only going to show us the obvious fakes.... we already know them.... THEY'RE OBVIOUS !!
Who cares te the boxes and bags
People care because they actually buy those boxes and bag for anywhere from $5.00 - $15.00 each.
lol because if the box is messed up..why would the jewelry be any better? Means it's fake if it's in a box that is not Tiffany standards!
Ķ
Not the boxes on the shelf
I like the fake one more. Tiffany is so overpriced, come on its just silver one of the cheapest metals there are and you ask 800$ for that. 😣
Tiffany is a little bit high in price but its worth it. they dont just have sliver. my parents got me one when I was 4 and it looks new.
