Good morning, Victoria! What wonderful Tiffany pieces you have. I especially love your pearl necklaces. I love that the majority of your jewelry were gifts from your husband, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. I also love that you want to pass down one special item to a future daughter. Thank you so much for sharing.

All of my Tiffany pieces have been inherited or gifts so each holds a special place for me :)

It’s the same way with David Yurman as well so it’s no uncommon for me to be wearing pieces from the brand from my grandmother-in-law, mother-in-law, and my collection at the same time :)

Your mugs are beautiful. I love Tiffany’s home wears and unlike most luxury brands they are quite competitively priced. I have been collecting the Tiffany blue and white tea and coffee set for quite a long time. Every Christmas I gift myself one or two pieces. This year I will be buying two tea cups and saucers and that is the last of the pieces I want. It’s almost sad that that journey has come to an end because I really enjoyed opening up the blue box every year.
Most reputable jewellers these days plate their silver pieces with rhodium to prevent tarnishing and allergies and I don’t understand why Tiffany’s don’t do this. So many people, including myself, are allergic to silver you would think they would sell a lot more if they did.
I have had two of their jewellery pieces in gold for many years and I have worn them a lot and they have no signs of wear and tear at all so I can highly recommend them.

For years and years my grandmother gave my mom a piece of her wedding china for Christmas until the entire thing was complete. I’d love a piece of Tiffany gold but the price is painful. I have considered looking for a gold key preloved though. Which gold pieces do you have?

@@accountingforluxury I have a Large T Smile Pendant which I bought around 8 years ago when they first came out and were a lot less than they are now. It’s a perfect framing piece for a pair of statement earrings. I also have a Pearls By The Yard bracelet which I bought preloved because their large size used to be 8 inches years ago. Then they went down to 7.75, then 7.25 and now it’s 6.75. The human race is getting bigger and bigger and their jewellery is getting steadily smaller. That makes sense!!???

Rhodium plating changes the color of silver and makes it cooler-toned and brighter, almost like platinum. Personally I think it cheapens the look but many like it. I love the vintage look of the traditional silver
