Just wanted to say thanks again 👍🏼 I've used this video multiple times now. I had a rattle in my door mirror so I disassembled the whole thing using your video. The rattle turned out to be a metal pin that sits in the plastic housing on the underside of the mirror. It had corroded to the point is had some play in the opening. I clued it tight and it's good now. Just letting you know 🍀
Thank you for the educational videos. You're really helping me, showing the ways to fix some of the problems in AR 147. Can you make video about fixing rear hatch sensor - as it seems it's a common problem to not work properly and show the hatch to be open even if it's closed?

hi, great vid as ever short simple and to the point. could you please do a video on how to replace the indicator handle ? mine won't stay on when signaling a right but I have no problem when signaling left. I have a 2004 147 so should be similar to your GT right ?
As per usual, thank you so so much for the useful and educational video. Everything I learned for my AR 147 was from alfaowner and your channel. Now, I need an advice - both of my door mirrors are completely stuck and they cannot fold in, as they should (towards the doors). Can I use something like WD-40 or similar spray after removing, after prying the mirror glass? I am afraid I might break or snap the whole mirrors if I use for rotating.
I realize this is an old question, but if it's still an issue I used WD40 on the mirror every day for 1-2 weeks, I just sprayed it behind the glass and then I gave it a solid turn in and the mirror folded as supposed to. Haven't managed to do that to the driver side mirror, but one was enough for me to fit the car in the garage.
@@RyderGaming Sorry for the delayed response. Unfortunately as ARC Garage said, it is impossible to fold them without breaking. Yesterday I removed the glass itself and behind it, you can see the corroded hinges made solely from aluminium. The only thing left is following this video guide and changing the mirrors with ones that are not corroded. After the change, your method in the last reply would be super effective order for the mirrors to last longer. Cheers.

Thanks, I had the same issue, and they are close to impossible to fix without breaking them...

Nice video man !! I have one question for all , how to fold side mirrors on alfa 147 2006 ?? I cant manual fold :/
They are folded manually, but the problem is the mechanism which is made of aluminium. It oxidizes and becomes inoperable...

Maybe if the car wasnt gray metalic. I think that they wouldnt be good as on black car or red one.

Nista, i kod mene je isto, ja sam polomio svoje pokusavajuci ih popraviti. Aluminium toliko oksidira da ga je nemoguce razraditi...
