I got 100k miles out of the first one so I'm not complaining. Glad you enjoy your car, I've had an Alfa since 1996 and back then Alfa drivers used to wave to each other, I still get an occasional wave now.
Could not agree with you more... I have been in love with the looks of this car for many years just bought mine 6 months ago and i feel blessed !!! Pastel white 120hp 2015 with side skirts, dark headlights, aluminum pedals and i already put on it 9.000km

You are absolutely correct! My 1750 QV Launch Edition is lively, fun, and a pure pleasure to drive.....and its reliable. Here in Australia, it's probably one of the most underrated hot hatches, but that's because most Aussies don't know much about them. Thanks for your video.
@arcgarage, it definitely is the most fun car I've ever owned. Prior to the QV, I've owned 2 locally manufactured LS1 and LS2 V8 Holden Commodore's and an L67 supercharged V6 Commodore, and the QV out handles and out performs all three Holden's. Not necessarily for its torque, but definitely for its handling, 0 - 100km acceleration, top speed and purity. If they weren't good, they wouldn't use the same engine in the 4C. Keep up your great work my friend.
Absolutely agree with these points! I have a 2011 11,4 MA and the odometer now shows 289tkm. To my knowledge still original MA unit with no problems. Change the oil often and when doing so clean the MA filter, that will keep the MA unit alive. Great car to drive, service and own! They do have that X factor that makes you smile!
i've bought one 1.4 lpg 120hp months ago. I've already done with it 5000km, and apart from some very small issues (that could be in every single car) and regular maintenance, i love it. It gives me pleasure when i drive it!
I just bought a 2017 Veloce 1750 and I absolutely adore it. For a 2017 car it's almost retro and I love that. Just enough tech but not too much rubbish like most newer cars. An absolute rocket in-gear too and I have to say, the new carbon/black headlights on the series 2 look superb and the best part is it was massively cheaper than all the rest!
I have one with 1.6 jtdm2 and it has been a joy, the engine is roaring as if new, if you service it for each 10000km or after a year, she will give you that joy. I haven't modified mine, and I don't plan to do it, I like to keep it mostly original, but mods are readly available and mostly well priced.
Totally agree! I've owned mine for a little more than a year (same config as yours) & except the old tech in mine, I'm super happy with it. Recently changed the expansion vessel that was leaking some coolant from the tubes but besides that it's been a great friend so far. Great channel by the way, keep up the good work! Cheers from Sweden.
I' been owning 16 years old Fiat Bravo 1,4 150hp for more than ten years. It's almost 190k km now and still no serious issues. Love this car but it's time to switch to Giulietta QV. Italian cars are something else!
I have a Bianco Lunare since oktober 2020 Giulietta. 1.4 TB 120hp. Love it. Very agressive in Dinamic mode. Great car with a very good susspension. It takes turns like a railcar. I can't say anything bad about it.
I agree with most, but I have the QV, so the ride is not like the other versions, but I'm not complaining. I bought it new in october 2014 and so far it has been pretty reliable, fun to drive and still looks cool
Totally agree. Even it is disappointing for some customer's needs that there is no compact replacement but just another SUV, for us owners it means we are still driving the latest compact Alfa 😏. This is helped by the fact that there is almost no aging for good design. And for what it is in terms of segment it is just fun to drive.
I drove a 1.4t Multiair 2011 LHD car last weekend and it was a great experience, coming from a Busso 156. A lovely little car filled with cool technology. Only issue and reason I didn't buy it was that I have size 46 (US 12) feet, so it was too tight around my feet. Very annoying at every shift and move between the gas and break pedal. The owners size 42 was OK.
I'm thinking of buying a Giulietta as my next car purchase. I currently own a Renault Clio. It has been great over the years, but it's getting a bit old now, and I would like a bit more modern car. Before I my purchased my Renault, I had a Toyota, and it was the worst car I ever owned, so it would be my 1st and last Toyota I'll ever own. I've always loved being different and unique, and it seems like I've always been lucky with the odd brands than the usual everyday car brands. Done so much research on Giulietta's and Alfa-Romeo as a brand lately. Alfa-Romeo's are such an underrated and unfairly criticized car brand. Agree that the Giulietta still looks way better than most of the newer, more modern car brands out there. It's still a looker, like most Alfa-Romeo's also still are. Rear space isn't that much of a problem to me since I'm single, with no children. And I'm buying the car for me, not my friends, If my friends want a lift, they'll have to squeeze into the back, be thankful, if thy don't like it, then they're welcome to walk.😂 I live by the motto, "Don't follow the crowd, let the crowd follow you." Life's too short to drive a boring car. You only live once, right? It's just unfortunate that Alfa-Romeo doesn't produce the Giulietta or MiTo anymore, but I heard there's talk of Alfa-Romeo planning to release the new versions soon What I also love about Alfa-Romeo's is that you can get into one a lot cheaper than more popular, boring, everyday, and usual similar sized hatchbacks, that can be seen around every 2nd street corner or shopping center parking lot.
@arcgarage Renault's are a bit crap to work on, I know. There's not much space in the engine bay. Even replacing a headlight bulb is a struggle. I would be sad to let my Clio go, but I've always said there's only one car I'd replace it with, and that's an Alfa-Romeo. I always wanted an Alfa-Romeo, but never did. I've also looked at the Mito, but the MiTo are a lot smaller and only available as a 2 door. The Giulietta would be the better option for me it's a lot more practical, and I think it would be more comfortable than the MiTo. I'm still doing some research on the Giulietta. Of course, they do have their strong and weak points like any other car manufacturer out there. No car is perfect because they're all man made, but this video helped a lot. Oh, and don't forget that forgotten hero Giulietta in the Fast and Ferious movie who was the only car that managed to pull that massive plane to the ground when all other cars failed, crashed or burned. Ha, ha, ha. But I fell in love with a sexy Italian lady called Giulietta. I love the new Giulia's, Tonalé's and Stelvio's, but they're way out of my price range. Thanx, cheers.
yeah great Cars. I have Giulietta QV and I have done 330,000 kilometres on it. It never let me down and has been very reliable. The only thing that has just happened is that the clutch has gone, but I did drive it in a spirited fashion. It is getting a new clutch next week. R
Hvala za videe koje snimaš. Imam 1.4 tb. Bukvalno sve sto si snimao, muči i moju. I feel like the seats could be more supportive with a tiltable base and for me the steering wheel could come out a little further. My 147 GTA has much better seats and a perfect driving position for me. All your other points are spot on.
Sold my 156 as it is quite old now and the twinny was still giving me issues. Might get an alfa again in the future but probably not soon. And here's hoping If I do get the giulietta platform that it would be a bit less of a money pit for me. I seem to have the worst luck with my examples.
Most important thing is to get a car that has been well maintained and taken care of, Alfas as well as any other car brand for that matter are like that, if you buy one that has been destroyed, it is going to cost you a lot
Will you do a video about adding angel eyes to Giulietta? It looks so freaking good, but the way of taking apart the headlight units make me scared Hope you'll find a decent way to do that yourself
