This scene caught me all the way off guard. First 19 minutes, everything is so relaxing with a little of comedy and character development. Last couple of minutes, this happens.... It's been 4 days and I'm still shocked!

The thing I love about this scene is as an Esper (and a damn strong one) Mob can survive something like this no problem. But when he's inside he's so sure that even though his family members aren't Espers (besides Ritsu) they'd be fine because they're reliable, cautious, and smart (things he doesn't associate with himself). I know it's the main theme of the series but Mob genuinely doesn't believe his powers make him special and it shows.
@@cameloio Yeah, but I also think some credit goes to His family and Tsubomi. Despite knowing that he's an esper his parents treated Mob and Ritsu fairly equally (if anything they wanted Mob to be more like Ritsu), they never chastised or ostracized him for making mistakes or being different (bending spoons), and most importantly they never tried to use his powers for their gain. Tsubomi was never really all too impressed with Mob's powers (A little at first) and that had a lasting effect on him. He wanted to build himself out and give himself something of more substance. Reigen definitely instilled that lesson on him the most but they were pretty good support.

It hurts me just how pure mob was in this scene. That's what makes this painful cuz you truly knew where his thoughts were in this moment. Damn the house amd everything in it but as long as his family was fine he was fine

Without a doubt one of the most raw and powerful scenes of emotion in an anime. No real music or dialogue besides dimple and that harsh, jagged theme slowing down as he opens the door. Perfectly encapsulates that feeling of hearing horrifically upsetting/angering news of the world slowing down around you and the rage building. Masterpiece
Gon when pitou was asking for time to heal kigumo was probably the most emotionally raw animation and voice acting I've ever seen. Music and dialog were up there and you could just feel the anger and pain coming through the screen.
The only time so far in the series where Mob had gone ???% while conscious. The implications of what could’ve happened.... I’m sure most people were stunned to see Mob snap. A sequence well done!
Something I just noticed about this scene is how as Mob is walking through the flames of his home, he's keeping himself calm by telling himself how his family should've been fine in a situation like that, showing how his percentage didn't change, he values his family more than any of his belongings. But when Dimple said that someone had broken in and caused the fire, the percentage increased a little bit, as Mob was worried that someone took his family, but they could still be fine, so it didn't increase too much. But then, when he saw the dummies of his family's burning corpses, his percentage went hayware. As Mob stands, he heavily relies on his family for emotional support, and the mere thought of losing it all in a instant could've caused Mob to completely lose it.
At 2:10 I enjoy the way Mob's hand and fingers contort to become stiff, conformed, and cold. To me it furthers the tension that he's about to become a calculating and remorseless killer.

The fact that not only dimple calmed him down a bit, altho he was still angry, but when later they meet up with reigen, he tells mob that he knows his family is alright (he doesnt but was true later) and inmediatelly mob calms down and falls asleep, showing how reigen's word are true to him no matter what

Yeah, his hair starts floating. You realize it once you watch season 3 episode 11.
2:07 Left me feeling Anguish for him, like imagine that your hope was shattered the moment he saw their "Bodies" burning up and all he could do is stare with complete despair.
Correct me if I am wrong, but this is the only time ???% comes through without Mob passing out or having his vessel destroyed. Pretty damn impressive that Dimple managed to calm him down.
Mob’s look of disgust and anger is terrifying
Hands down one of the best anger snaps in anime
I was literally shaking. I haven’t shook due to an anime scene in a long time, but the feeling this scene gave me literally shook me.
Even knowing how this is resolved.. watching this scene still hurts inside. Mob's such a cinnamon bun even having him believe that is painful. That's how you know you got a well written character.
It is quite sad, cruel and scary how something like that happens to such a calm, nice and loveable boy like Mob. You should REALLY avoid to have him against you. This could possibly not end good for you. Never.
Dang mobs so mad you can audibly hear his bones cracking
i went into this episode completely blind... when i say this caught me off guard, jesus i mean it. this scene is absolutely jarring considering that it comes right after 19 minutes of lighthearted comedy. i would've been reeling for hours if not for the fact that i had to focus on a test like five minutes after i finished the episode
* Palpatine *
Gooooood......let the hate flow through you
I'm pretty sure he'd be more like
"OH $#!T I'M OUTA HERE!"
The sound editing was freaking perfect in this scene.
This season was such a trip to watch while airing. First this, then the 13th episode, it's all so crazy. Mob is truly flawless as a show.
See that face? That reaction? Now imagine if Saitama had this face. Yeah, the universe would literally disappear.
Didn't that technically happen when Garou killed Genos?
MP100 has the best animation,, I love rewatching scenes like this because they never fail to make it look absolutely wonderful.
_This is fine_
*I am ok with the events that are currently unfolding*

EVERYTHING'S ON FIRE!!
WHAT THE HELL IS MY PROBLEM?!?!
well, someone called them out in the last video for not posting it up... well, eat your heart out now lol
In that black clover video right
“It’s just a prank bro”
The prank:
Dude broke all his fingers to confirm he wasn't dreaming😳😳
xD
It's actually this scene that convinced me to watch Mob Psycho II, because I was still deciding if I should watch it. This scene actually made me shed some tears.
Imagine if dimple didnt warn mob....
he would've *LOST* it
Bro when I saw that percentage just SHOOT UP like that I was like 😳.
Wonder what the neighbours are thinking, kid just walked calmly into burning house
They had us on the first half, not gonna lie.
It brings me to tears how much faith he has in his little bro
2:08 reminds of my hero academia's stain.
'cause he has teeth?
@@astern.7425 Yes. The shape of the chin as well.
That whole little clip is reminiscent of stains scene with the blood moon
@@AdAstraPerAsperae MHA fans think everything is a reference to MHA...
but cool username tho
@@alainyoung3878 dude he literally looks like aizawa in some of these clips. How are you just going to blatantly ignore that?
The fact that not only dimple calmed him down a bit, altho he was still angry, but when later they meet up with reigen, he tells mob that he knows his family is alright (he doesnt but was true later) and inmediatelly mob calms down and falls asleep, showing how reigen's word are true to him no matter what
I’m ngl when the counter began quickly growing past one hundred that actually terrified me, he was about to go on smoke lol
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SCENES FROM THE SHOW! 11/10
*Mob.exe has stopped working*
dimple : you need to be calm shigeo
mob : haha percentage go brrrrrr
Stonks
As much as I love Mob I really want him to just go absolutely berserk with nothing holding him back anymore
Maybe in season 3
mob was already at like 94% so when they showed the bodies i was wondering how they could go any farther without ruining the tensity of the scene. mob going beyond 100% was fit perfectly into the scene
This is how the world ended
Not with a bang, but a whimper
Honestly if dimple wasn't there the world universe the flipping multiverse would be screwed
@@josstarfluff5052 the multiverse would turn into salami on chips
I won't lie i literally thought it was going to be a normal episode but when this happened my jaw dropped from this 360° turn
Dimple has such good character development, his first instinct was to say DONT LOOK! Edit: Also bro mobs killer face is so scary
