I really like this moment. Because it shows how much Mob cares about his brother. It usually takes quite a bit of proding for Mobs emotions to reach 100%. But the guy hit his brother a few times and he was fucking pissed!

Those go hand in hand. It's simpler to animate but that allows them to do so much more with it with less cost. It truly is a passion project.

I wish I could watch mob again without any memory of what happened, this masterpiece of a show is my favorite of all time and it always gives me chills watching shigeo go 100%
Mob, is the great story of someone who sees the world out of the ego shell.
It makes you realiza that no matter how powerful you are, you still need others to improve.
For that and much more, I love this anime.

This series shows that you don't need super detailed characters or backgrounds, as long as you follow the genre and the concept of the characters, then you have a good show.

@MageBurger I know right?? The dynamism is so good! I'm just wild for the character animation in this tbh. You really feel Koyama's weight and Mob's weightlessness. I love Ritsu's expressions here too, they really nailed the "crying specifically from anger and fear" when he twitches and seems to be fighting the tears (totally in contrast to how Ritsu cries from relief later on, when his eyes look big and wet and his shoulders relax). Ahhh I just love this scene~
This episode blew my mind back then. Everything was so funny but this scene in particular got me into this fantastic show.
this is why i love animation styles like this, it shows you the pain and either no or max 1000000% emotion

my favorite part of the series was when he saw wood burning and thought it was his parents and caused him to be at a ???% i also liked how he afterwards used esp to instantly find the location of the person who did that and went ther in seconds

I always appreciated how mob wasn’t ready to use his powers seriously until he touched Ritsu
"Hey, mister, who did terrible things to us... Just so you know, this is all your fault." is such a raw line and I love it, because it's entirely true. He did bring it upon himself as soon as he started physically assaulting them.
It's very reminiscent of Shank's classic; "You're putting your life on the line by pointing that at me" from One Piece.

l heard that mob was originally supposed to be in opm instead of tatsumaki but one changed it because he couldn't find a good way to incorporate his 100% explosions into the series

This is not true at all, ONE started writing Mob Psycho 100 long before One Punch Man, and when he did start writing OPM he only intended it to be a one chapter joke.

That's not true. But it is true that Reigen was supposed to be originally a main character with psychic powers but ONE changed this concept and decided to invent a middle schooler instead.

I watched this episode two days ago. The animation throughout the fight is insane!!!
Once in a while, I come back to this video to watch it frame by frame. Always keep in mind that some nutjob behind the wheel is insane enough to imagine a vision like this.
