Another great job Cliff. This is a tried and true method that works!! I know as well as you do there are people out there who say "you don't put bleach on wood" blah, blah ,blah. I have always done it the way you do it and it truly restores the wood!! Plain and simple!! BTW I have a wood fence at my house as well and wouldn't do it any differently!! I need to try and get me some compactors and dumpster pads. This next week I am going to actively pursue commercial jobs in my downtime. Keep doing what you do!!

Facts. Some folks thing other wise cause they're spraying too strong of a mix on the wood so they write off this process shown here.

Everyone has their process but I'd like to know why you don't use sodium metasilicate for wooden fences. Thanks for your videos. You are always true and down to earth.

Hey its just how I was taught really and has been working for me. Although I may try some sodium metasilicate in the future.
I must say I've phased out wood cleaning in the past year but it makes great for content.

I'm not looking forward to cleaning my wood stairs with a small landing and mainly the railing. I did it once and was so tedious and tiring. It's against the back of the house in an area that doesn't get much sun, so the railing on one side towards the neighbor shows a bunch of algae when it's wet in the rain. Though I'm hoping the bleach will make it a bit easier this go around as the last time was before I saw the videos on your channel.

So far so good. Had it for at least a couple months and used it appropriately 6-7 times. I rinse it very well after job by flushing water and a little bit of pine sol or la totally awesome. There's a little mesh filter inside the tank that has to be popped out and cleaned too.

Hey Cliff I'm doing a wooden fence tomorrow. Customer just wants it cleaned. He is going to paint or stain it. If I use SH do I still need to use wood brightener (oxalic acid) as well. That's my usual process but was wondering because I believe you or someone else said the oxalic acid is basically a neutralizer. Thanks in advance.

Cleaning hundreds of properties a year. 1 is bound to complain but I've never killed a neighbors plant or grass yet. The mix isn't that strong to really damage anything. Plus the little overspray that goes over the other side gets rinsed when I rinse the fence.
