Hey! Could you do a video on how placements work? Eg: how many hours/days of the week do you work, are there 24 shifts, what are the different rotations, what does/can the med student do etc. I'm a pre-med and I'm really interested in this hehe.
job interview!? I thought med student timetables were absolutely jam-packed! how much free time do you have in your schedule to do paid work at the moment?
Hey Emily!! It's weird the med timetable is packed for sure but there is also quite a lot of time off it's just inconsistent (the timetable is hard to work with). But you can definitely make it happen if you want to!
Oh no. You moved out of that BEAUTIFUL place? Haha. You crack me up. How did the interview at the cinema go? Didn't you just get a job with animals? Do you find working and studying hard to manage?
HELLLOOO!! Yessss did move house a couple of months ago now, it was good while it lasted but also loving all the natural light in our new place :) Interview was successful thanks for asking now I have 2 jobs and yes honestly at the moment I am struggling to strike the balance! hope it evens out soon
@Aesthetic Academic I'm glad you're enjoying your new space. Working and studying must be bloody though. I start medical school next year and I'm spending this year saving as much as I can. Do you have any advice on dealing with a neighbour from hell? This fella moved in next door and has been absolutely wild. Literally DJing late until the night. Alone in his apartment, casually DJing. Today I went outside and saw that he chucked all his weeds over my fence. A massive pile. Naturally I was livid haha. Anyway, called the real estate to say "why did you let this dude move into this quiet apartment block." Turns out he has a brain injury. Not really sure how to deal with it all. He also leaves his screaming vacuum cleaner on for hours at a time. I'm sensing maybe he puts it on, forgets and does something else. No idea what a brain injury can do. I do know that it seems to have given this guy an absolute love for Chris Brown music. Lord have mercy.

Hey! Love your videos. I had a question- how many hours a day do you put time for studying? :)
Outside of class and placement if I can get 2 extra hours in that’s a good day for me 😁
