I run across this video and I must say that it is a very good technique that builders should be able to find
Good restoration, but don’t use the grease on the big ring - all the sand/junk will stick to it and kill the ring crown

why not use white vinegar and stone that should clean.it
Brick acid cleaning is easy 15 to 20% hydrochloride acid, plus the rust will desolve too.

Nice job guys, that’s a sweet mixer. I rinse mine after Every time I use it and spray paint any shiny metal showing through, yeah I know it’s anal but I paid $300 bucks for a Ryoby so I’m going to keep it in good shape.
I wish I could find one of those used
My hubby have a machine just like this one and he needs a shaft for the barrel how could he get one please
1 try to order a spare part ,2 have it made at a machine shop
Note using grease on pinion and ring gear is highly not recommende due to wastage of metal wen aggregate particles stick to it
Which kind of grease was used on big ring? Many thanks
I just used wheel bearing grease but someone pointed out that it might help collect dirt and wear out the gears faster.
