The CSX I169, NS 14M, and CSX I158 was a triple train meet made in heaven...

The second and third leg of the triple train meet, NS14M & CSX I158, were racing down the rails today. WWoT must miss the warm summer days and few months back as he had several videos from time of year.

for those of you who are wondering what ever become of the cabooses after they was taken out of service. answer is many was converted to small tanker cars.this was done by removing the hull top frame and replacing a tanker down on the old caboose chassis. as far as i can tell every major class 1 and some class 2 railroads done this except for those cabooses that was sent to museums or special stations or railroad parks.

💨💨 NS 14M "here-and-gone"...Whew!! Very cool (and different) horn on that slow-ordered UP 9012. The local always "Best in Show" 🏆, especially with that rebuilt Geep40-"3"!! Nice seeing the "speed-lettered" Southern Pacific autorack @26:08...it's been a while... Really enjoyed your "turning-back the calendar with a bunch of Fall-colored runby's...love the "avian" 🐦 soundtrack in the background. 👍👍

The second was faster I loved
Silver Springs has a slow order too, possibly because of some work they are doing near where the Perry Branch ran. It allowed me to pass today's 309 which had a BNSF/FXE consist.
Going to get pretty nippy out there this weekend. Hope you have some warm gloves!
