    What does Toyota have against Tow Hooks?

  • @Psichlo1
    @Psichlo1 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +68

    No offense, but most people who by trucks don't need all that garbage. With full size trucks in the 100k range, a simple, affordable, reliable truck, would sell a ton. I don't understand the manufacturers trying to offer foot massagers, big screen tv's, ear cleaners and jacking the price to 150k for a truck that will most likely break down before it hits the end of the warranty period. This isn't just Toyota, it's all the manufacturers trying to upsell their vehicles with gimmicky features, while the quality of the interior and reliability take massive nose dives.

      Don't understand your complaint. There are different trim levels for all trucks. People aren't buying large luxury sedans for $80-100k anymore. They are turning to SUVs and trucks instead to drop that money. They want all the creature comforts like the sedans. Why not offer it to them?

    • @Minjoeman

      I think it would be awesome to own such a truck with all these features, but it is not necessary for me.

    • @DB-os7wl

      The government working inside deals with manufacturers to price consumers out of trucks and SUVs. You will own nothing and be happy. Remember?

    • @pragmatic4624

      Personally I prefer a higher trim. I use my truck for business and spend considerable time in it. My peers drive Mercedes, Lexus, BMW SUVs. My high trim truck is practical and modest in comparison.

    Even ‘if’ Toyota wanted to put a V8 in the truck, probably not enough turn around time to develop such an engine. ✌️

    However little these new features and visuals may be, they were likely in the works when the 3rd gen launched.
    What Toyota could do is tell the marketing folks to down play these updates until the TTv6 recall has begun replacing engines. Anything else is just a slap in the face.
    I have a 2022 Tundra 1794 w/ Long bed and auto leveling suspension.
    It’s a nice truck but so much should have been done better. The attention to detail is not what it should be. I am fortunate. Most of my QC issues have been resolved. My only lagging complaint is the frequent brake noise and easily overheating rotors.

    NOT ENOUGH. WHAT THE F TOYOTA? Why not the TSS 3.0? Why not Trail Hunter edition and package? Why not adjustable suspension available with the off road suspension? What about options to not have sunroof on higher trim levels?
    How about a 1794 with Trail Hunter package, no sunroof but all the above on medium and long bed and above 2,000 lbs minimum loading capacity? Do this and you will be the number one for 1/2 ton segment seller. And keep all these under $80K.

    Instead of building all these luxury trucks why don't they concentrate on the basics make a good truck the way it was back in the day we don't need all this luxury to raise up the prices. It's ridiculous to have a car truck at $80,000 Canadian build a truck for a towel for $30,000 Canadian can you sell your trucks and business will go on

    I think that the world has come to the point of which quality and reliability are no longer attainable from any manufacturer. The goal to make them cheaper while raising the msrp's to astronomical levels is now the norm. Paying far more for much less is something that I could never justify doing. These dealers are still only shaving off a fraction of their massively hiked prices. No matter how you slice it, they're not offering deals. They continue to offer ridiculous gimmicks as options so more can fail and you can visit the service dept. more often than not. Great for those that lease. Just my opinion!
