I love how the nuke loading rack at 2:25 makes that gimme, gimme, gimme motion.
Well, Cain is a maniac. So that checks out.
Funny why they would build something like that into his body in the first place lol. And he should've been overdosed by that amount of drugs anyway lol

😆😆😆 I thought that too it was like Gimme, Gimme, Gimme
The stop motion adds so much to this scene because it gives the impression that Kane is awkwardly stumbling around and his new body which he is not used to moving around in 😮
They had no time to test him and his brain is still addicted to nuke. Had they just flash cloned his neural pattern into the robots neural net he wouldn’t have that weakness.
“Now, how the hell do I walk again?”
Stop motion also gives things a real yet unnatural feel, making things seem like their really their but alien and unnerving at the same time
Cain
Nice typo bot clout kid😂
1:57 Anyone else noticed that Robo-Kane stooped down at the sight of Nuke and even sounded like "Whoa..." in a mechanical way as if he was mesmerised by it.
Yes lol
Lol😂
He really went >:0
Yes I noticed it
That digital screaming at the end was accurately terrifying.
My nightmares as a kid was the warehouse scene.
the same face and scream as T-1000 Terminator 2 ending
Love the ratcheting sounds when Cain moves certain parts, the "whirr" of satisfaction he feels when he gets his nuke high, the otherworldly sound of the electrical discharges after his CPU/brain is destroyed. Classic.
I love the way he sort of "stretches" after he gets the nuke at 2:32 then stands there for a sec staring at the crowd high as a kite lol.
You gotta give credit to OCP engineering. After having a multi-ton APC slam him into a reinforced concrete wall, Cain isn't even scratched. Even those exposed waist hydraulics are in perfectly fine shape.
The stupid cops there with useless pistols. They should have had military grade equipment, beyond the armored aliens style cruiser. If they had the tech to make him, they had the weapons to take him down. Their incentive is their reputation and the lawsuits. But I loved Robocain. I think the fight could have gone on longer, with Robo getting some stronger weapons to make it more interesting.

I totally agree being a sateel worker.. those legs be crushed backwards :;-\ 30 ton apc into steel = bendy bendy even 4 inch thick
As a robot doctor, I can confirm that this is 100% accurate.
The robot brain is notoriously sensitive to being ripped out and smashed on the pavement.
_Wooooooow,_ who knew
"robot doctor " 😂😂😂
I think most brains are sensitive to being ripped out and smashed on the pavement

Love that line "of course there won't be any trouble from the dead ones", it's so reminiscent of the original film.
2:49 the transition to stop motion Robocop here is amazingly well done
After Cain is destroyed, the machine returned in Robocop: Rogue City but this time, with the data of the OCP Boss
And by then, Robocop upgraded his Auto-9 to such degree that Cain's piddly machine gun seems like a peashooter in comparison...
It's such a well done game with tons of fan service.
What an amazing game. I laughed my ass off with certain parts of the game. The fact that they were still able to replicate the satirical humor from back then was amazing. The game needs way more exposure for sure.
@@rodriga1985it's that good?
The animation in these movies was so great
Top tier animation for sure

Who thought giving that much power to a drug addict was a good idea?
😂😂😂
What I love about the film Robocop are the realistic design-function relationship in the details of Robocop's body, for example the hydraulics on his legs and neck, the hidden gun holster in this thigh. It's not just a science fiction but sets possibilities in engineering and technologies. Add to this FX the cool targeting system in his visor...which is similar to today's weapon techs.
That stop motion is still incredible even now (thanks to the genius of Phil Tippett) 👌👌👌
It has no mass, like toys fighting
Clearly Cain activated the unlimited ammo cheat on the controller before he destroyed it
I never understood why she grinned there 1:35 . She knows her career and life are ruined because of cain, doesn't she?
I love the entire original trilogy, 1980's and 90's ultra violence at its best
The third one wasn't great, and the tv series was made for a kid friendly audience which planted it firmly in the ground. The 4 part mini series years later tried revving it, but suffered from very low budget.
Yeah, that final robosmash at the end is what really sealed the deal... because spreading his brain along the pavement like liver pate just wasnt enough
@3:47 the eye bulge scene from Kane still creeps me out as an adult! 😂😂

When Robocain takes Nuke, his hydraulics extend upwards. He gets high figuratively and literally. 😛
Stop motion is a lost art 🤨
3:47 Cain: *"NANI!?"*
I still can’t believe how awesome was that stop motion. We have lost so much…
stop motion still exists... and honestly it doesn't look awesome at all. You're seeing it through rose tinted glasses. It actually just looks shit and totally brings you out of the film.
@@lukefreeman828 I was thinking the exact same thing... It adds to the steampunk aesthetic in a campy way, but it also feels really awkward. The nuclear loading mechanism rapidly opening and closing it's claws (as to simulate a cartoonish gimme-gimme gesture) didn't help.
Liked the way Officer Lewis kicked the armored car driver off the vehicle
3:46 RoboCop should say, “Hasta la vista, Cainie” before destroying Cain’s brain.
terminator 2 was created in 1991
old school movies: crazy robot-monster with a minigun and militarized cops are having an all-out war... and journalists are in the middle of the firing line.

Its hilarious that OCP used Ford Tempos as police cars.
Ford Taurus
Robocop got that Harry Potter scar.😂
I'm glad they have bullet-proof tires on that vehicle at the beginning, or things may have worked out quite differently
I don't think bulletproof tires would matter in that scenario. He was going into that wall with a 30,000lb push whether he liked it or not
@@williamnixon3994 Well if the tire has been destroyed before Lewis even gets in the driver's seat, that vehicle isn't going anywhere...

3:47 "NOOO!!!!"
It's funny how he finds it necessary to smash it with his fist after the brain has already been slammed on the ground. As if it wasn't already wrecked to begin with... LoL
It’s the only way to be sure
Looked like he bashed the spinal cord.

Moral of the story, don’t do drugs kids.
I love how RoboCop pulls out the brain 🧠 and it’s soaking in that watery substance then he smashes it to bits.
I wonder how much ram it would take for a robot cop to scream in agony for 30 seconds after the main cpb [central processing brain] gets ripped out.
I thought the stop motion looked weird when I was a kid, but with the context of lazy uses of CGI in some modern movies, it’s aged well
At least he had a last dosis before death
3:36
Considering we saw how other humans reacted to being in the failed Robocop shells, just seeing how long it takes Cain's brain to actually DIE and go offline is some new kind of bodyhorror.
Robocop is smart. If you want to make sure the robot brain goes down, you need to punch it after spamming it down.
The fight scene literally looks like a robot chicken scene lmfao 😂
Watching this makes me wonder was iron man a throw back to this? just needed the "this looks important!" as he was pulling it out
San Francisco desperately needs a Kane!! Lol
Even as a kid when I saw this in the theatre I thought he already ripped his brain stem out just seems like over kill to smash & then punch😛
RoboCop 2 is the most underrated sequel in movie history!
of course not, is rated as a masterpiece
No, it ain’t.
That belongs to Exorcist 3
You are the kind of person who uses "wholesome" on a daily basis but doesn't understand it's meaning
They should have stuck with the same directors and theme for robocop 3 and kept it great. Instead the third one was garbage.
I'm still remember RoboCop
Beavis: Huh huh, this is your brain, huh huh, your brain on the street, huh huh. Any questions?
3:35 - 'This looks important' - Alex Stark.
Did you really call him “Alex”?! IT’S TONY FUCKING STARK!!!
Stop Motion > CGI
That cyborg is badass
Robocop: Good-Bye!
One of the best robocop piece!
Everything are perfect…😊
I think so.
I always felt that Cain did no where near enough damage to Robo bearing in mind his physical and weapon advantages. Compared to the ED209 in the tower he barely marks him.
he damaged him more when he was human
I hope Abe Forsythe gets to direct "Robocop Returns"
Have anyone seen "Down Under" or "Little Monsters"?
They're wildly and funny
Brains conected by bluetooth...
..The second the brain was pulled out, the machine should've just collapsed. Having some screen pop out with a digital "ghost" screaming on it is the most ridiculous way to do that scene..
I like how Cain's visual interface has genuine Apple font.
"Just look at what they done. They are criminals. OCP won't own this city for long and I will see to that. I will take it to the streets, I will take it to the people." - Mayor Kuzak
Amazing work
Awesome Film 👌👏👏👏
And we have Boston Dynamics developing robots like this.
1:28. Yeah, you've just hit him with a 6 ton armoured car and it didn't stop him, your 9mm pistol is going to prove decisive.....
That stunt man holding on probably realized if he let go while that APC was turning he’d be a pancake.
Awesome fight scene!
He doesn’t need that much, his brain is still the same size. He would definitely overdose and die.
I love the fact that for a normal human being just a little brain trauma leads to instant unalive , but for kayne ,got the brain smashed several times results in minutes of suffering hahahahha , wth
The screen tries it's best represents caine's emotions, so basically that's what he felt at that time and the machine got crazy with the representation of what the brain felt
Got to love the "subtle" OCP flag lmao
UNDERRATED
How tf is that, people loved it back then
"Cain" you upload more Robocop goodness for your fans? There's nothing more thrilling than like indulging in some good '80 action movie nostalgia! I'd buy that for a dollar!
Very cool fight
Play the game very awesome
The stop motion seemed to look best in up close shots
Hey look its a BRDM? If you know, you know what I am talking about!
Minigun shoot out against police squad. Looks familiar. T2 would be released 1 year later.
I would just die for licensed quarter scale Cane statue
Robocop is a masterpiece. But it still makes me sad to watch it. Because there is still a family that was destroyed by this. That wife, their son. Imagine having that happen to your dad. Imagine having a hunch that your dad was still alive stuck in a machine. Also I love the 3rd Reich imagery in Robocop 2.
love how they portray the cops giving him a special apparatus just to take drugs.. totally lame

Good Bye...! 🧠✊👊🏻💥😂🤣
Dude’s hunted by the entire Detroit police department, and all he can think about is getting high.

Nuke: you’re never too busy to get fucked up
It's also the reason he got picked for their Robocop Program. OCP assumed they could control Cain through his Nuke addiction, and whilst they were... not *entirely* wrong to believe that, they SEVERELY underestimated just how badly things would go if Cain ever got loose, and SEVERELY overestimated the usefulness of Nuke's ability to control him, especially with Miss Psycho seeming to think denying a half-insane murderbot his vice for extended periods of time is a good idea
The Special effects looks better than the last Transformers Movie😅
