    My favourite...... i'm a bit spoilt when i'm back in Malaysia.. nasi lemak works out the best because its still nice even if its cold (i wake up late, long after my parents come back from the wet market). Next would be the economy fried noodles.. again, still nice when its cold.

    • @sara_khong
      @sara_khong  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Economy fried noodles is an interesting choice. I like mihun wrapped in newspaper, especially if its accompanied with good chili sauce/ sambal. You're right about nasi lemak, good when its hot or cold, and can be eaten for breakfast/lunch/tea/dinner/supper!

    For breakfast, we, Malaysians are spoilt for choice ranging from murtabak, Hainanese chicken rice, beef curry rice, dimsum and tau pao, kutu mayang, various kuehs including nine storey kueh, the list is endless and to stipulate which is the favourite is akin to picking up the best offspring amongst the children of a family. No comparison. Also not forgetting nasi lemak.

    Kawanku is my favorite frozen roti canai brand and just like you, I also make a large batch of dahl using my instant pot and freeze leftovers as well as curry and sambal to go with the roti. If no curries then sugar or bananas will have to do 😂

      Oh, I didn't know there's such thing! Just googled this: www.kawanfood.my/products/dhal-curry! Will check it out next time. But I like to make my own dal. Not hard and affordable as well. And I like to put more turmeric powder than usual. Check out how I made mine here >>> th-cam.com/video/O9JYRoJr31M/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SaraKhong

      @@sara_khong Yeah, a lot of popular TH-camrs get a lot of free stuff and sponsorship. Not too long iChang(Japanese couple) got a box load of Baba spices delivered to them in Hong Kong. Instant noodles raters get a lot too for them to test out the manufacturer instant noodles. It is marketing for the manufacturers.
      Note: Kawan Food is relative unknown until the MCO enforced. It has become more relevant.

    Mark Weins suggested your vlog channel so I'm here....
    So please don't eat frozen dal ....at least too often.... Not good for health

      Hello! Thank you for dropping b . Yes, fresh is always best. Unfortunately, sometimes we get really busy BUT still would love homecooked meals. So frozen homecooked meal is one of the solution. But don't worry, most of the time we have fresh meals :)
