I’m new to Hobinichi and I really enjoy it. I often planner fail midway through, but I’ve been sticking with this one and getting new ideas all the time.😊
I love the TWSBI brand of fountain pens. My favorite for my Hobonichi is TWSBI Eco in F and EF nibs filled with De Atramentis Document Black. It is dark, it dries quickly, and it can be highlighted over with no smearing. Great video!!!!
MUST TRY for Hobonichi: Uniball One gel pens in 0.5 and 0.38 Pilot Multiball in Fine (this one stays with my Weeks bc it is super black, dries fast, and you can highlight OVER later) Uniball Signo Dx 0.38 Pilot Hi-Tec C Coleto multi-pen with 0.4 refills All of these dry fast and don't smear and write smoothly on hobonichi paper. Love!
I'm switching from Happy Planner to Hobinichi Weeks for 2024. HP has been great while I was in grad school, but I'm graduating in December and looking for something simpler. I'm really enjoying your content! Thanks for the pen reviews. I have a lot of mildliners, so I'm glad to see they work well on the Hobinichi paper.
Hi! I am a new subscriber, binging on your videos while I wait for my very first Hobo Weeks to be delivered (tomorrow!! 🎉). So excited to try my TWISBI in my Weeks.
I have a Happy Planner and a Hobonichi weeks. I do love both but I am still inclined more to use HP because I just have so much fun with the stickers! As for pens, girl, I am addicted to stationary videos.
Great video! I’m new to the Tomoe River paper, but I loooooovvvve it!! I also started out with HP and still use it, but I’m using a Sterling Ink notebook for journaling and it’s so amazing!!! I also love InkJoy and for journaling in my Sterling Ink, it’s been ok, but……. I’m inching my way closer and closer towards really trying the fountain pen addiction… loved your video so much!!!
Thank you! It’s pretty awesome I think 😍 I’m an enabler lol I love my fountain pens ✒️ I was hesitant at first but it’s always been something I was interested in. Jumped in and here we are Thank you so so much! 💕
So I've been a half letter discbound girl for a little over a year with no signs of stopping but I just bought a Weeks specifically for meal planning and am so grateful for this video!!
My current pen faves are the Uni 207+ and the 307. The ones with the Nano Ink technology. The ink is dark, smooth, bold and dries pretty quickly. I get the ink refills on JetPens, Uni Signo UMR 83E, 85E, 87E.
I had a similar issue with fountain pens. Switched to medium nib and the inks are so much more saturated. Also I have a similar font size to you, and medium nibs fit that size better. Love the twsbi diamond series with medium nib.
Thank you so much for doing these videos! I'm testing out different planners and pens so I really appreciate such a deep dive! As a kinesthetic learner myself, planners are the Ultimate in structuring one's day, right?
I got some blotting papers from Amazon to put on the pages when I am using any inky pens including my fountain pens. It saves the smudges and I don’t get ink on my fingers. 😂
i’ve only been planning in actual planners since about July. Before that I would just always make lists on notepads and notebooks. of course I started out with happy planner. And I bought so much stuff, probably overkill and then I started seeing the Instagram posts for the Hobonichi cousin and weeks, so I went ahead and picked up one of each of those to try for this coming year. Still looking for a pen though, so this is very helpful.
Not Poppy trying to take your pens with her!🤣💀😂 Loved this video. Thank you for going into detail with this!! I'm planning on getting my first ever Hobonichi Cousin around Christmas for the new year and I cannot wait! But I'm nervous about which pen to use. This helped a lot, so thank you!!!
Missed this one! Haven’t jumped on the fountain pen bandwagon yet but the Twisbi vs Kaweco makes me think of how an ink pen is much more black than a ballpoint. So I could totally understand what you what you were saying 😊
I am waiting on my first hobonichi cousin delivery right now and bingeing all the content i can lol I am going to give it a try after almost 4 years in happy planner and I have no idea if it'll be a success or not but I want to give it a try
I've been using the hobonichi weeks since 2019 plus fountain pens since 2016. By the way goulet pen company is fantastic source of information for beginners fountain pen users.i have a nice collection of kaweco sports favourite nib is fine. not long bought a twsbi eco indigo blue bronze ef nib, also have a nice collection of fountain inks.
Almost all of them come from TheCoffeeMonsterzCo i.refs.cc/jvRjuSIR?smile_ref=eyJzbWlsZV9zb3VyY2UiOiJzbWlsZV91aSIsInNtaWxlX21lZGl1bSI6IiIsInNtaWxlX2NhbXBhaWduIjoicmVmZXJyYWxfcHJvZ3JhbSIsInNtaWxlX2N1c3RvbWVyX2lkIjoxNDYzNTMxMjQ1fQ%3D%3D

I was so hesitant to hope on the fountain pen train. Lol. I’m glad I did though. Definitely still learning but it’s so fun
Same as you 2024 will be year 3 with hobonichi. Fountain pens I love favorite right now Pilot vanishing point in rose gold then my Twsbi ❤
I do want a vanishing point hoping Santa 🎅 brings me one this year 😂💕 yours sounds beautiful 😻

I don’t need to buy any more planners but if I do I think I’ll try a Hobonichi … what is the correct spelling? I’m seeing two.
