- I spent a few days in Shanghai, China. What an incredible city with amazing skyline view at the Bund, great atmosphere and I even got a haircut. Come along with me on this journey, where I share my real experience and the truth about China :)

China is a much more free country than any other country you know. Ask Indians who have lived or are living in China, they tell you China has more freedom than India. You are proud to be uncivilized Indian? The whole world knows this fact already.
@@madhavvishnoi if China govt is really authoritarian, why there are a lot of nail houses. Also, according to world bank and un, the govt has successfully raised over 800 million out of poverty.
In Shanghai, in order to facilitate smooth traffic, many roads are one-way and no riding is allowed. In this video, it is the Bund area. There are 10
vehicle lanes, but bicycles are not allowed to pass. For the beauty of the city and smooth traffic. thanks for your cooperation. The police in Shanghai are very friendly. Peoples can ask for help if they have difficulties.

Why seemingly most walkways and parks are sooo freaking clean and flawlessly manicured? The government and the people must spent a lot of efforts and money for those meticulous maintenance to keep most places that clean and orderly.
They do! It’s very well maintained
Every street in China has government hired cleaners! they clean the streets every morning! On the other hand, most people in China now have a good habit of maintaining cleanliness and will not litter the ground!

We have charging for our EV's in our home car park. Also shopping mall car parks etc all have charging.

My god. I live in Shanghai. I haven't realized how awesome it is.
You are lucky to be in Asia. There are China, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan in the north, and Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and Indonesia in the south. You can have a lot of fun in Asian countries.
Try the train. From Shanghai to hangzhou. 50mins. First class. A speak experience. You can order any food when you in the train. Guess what? The food will deliver in front of you at the next stop without any additional charge.
That’s cool, I will remember this

Too many cars these days. Not enough cycle lanes. I think the Netherlands is probably more bike friendly? Somehow I have an impression that you're Dutch.
You guessed it right! The Netherlands is very bike friendly.
You have a flat country, even below sea level mostly. You can’t be bike friend in hilly city, say for example Chongqing. But E-bike is ok with battery power to help a bit.

Shanghai has developed transportation connected with several cities nearby so it depends whether you want to visit those cities. But for Shanghai only, three/four days with three evening is better.

No gas station in the middle of downtown in any big city in USA. Easy to find electrical outlet anywhere in a city which EV owners can get permission to use for a short time to charge the car.

As a mainland Chinese, let me say that apart from the relatively limited political freedom of speech, everything else in mainland China is still quite good.welcome to china
but I'm not sure if a multi-party system is necessarily better; after all, it can easily lead to party strife.
Multi political parties means it could be intervened and sabotaged by outsiders. Which is why developing countries most likely stay developing, unless the majority is so determined to get rid of poverty or desperate for improvement but history told us it never last long. According to size of population and similar background of poverty back then, India and China is relatively a good study case.

Sure China does not have Human Rights like in the USA, but Chinese have the Freedom of walk late night streets without worry of being robbed or raped.

If you being a tourist come here, you definetly would feel like: ahh, people are friendly, city are clean and neat, sort of things. But the western meida about the report of China's negative part, sadly, is also a bunch of facts, in my opinion , we should always combine the pros and cons to judge a city, even a country.

The cons are no longer necessary. There are so many TH-cam channels (paid by the US of course- Budget of $300M a year for 5 years in the Strategic Competitive Act approved by Senile Biden in 2020) to bad mouth China day and night. As such, many channels are now showing the good side of China to balance it.
