I find "The Comets Gift" very situational and good for pre-made lobbies. I find United in prayer to be more useful because i use Shield of Faith liberally. I have not really tried H&S, the extra Stamina seems useful.
"United in prayer" is great. I love "The Comet's Gift" because it rewards attentiveness. Since this build can be very defensive, I find myself using it much more frequently on teammates since I am well able to hold my own. The ability to protect an ally and reverse all damage taken is so powerful that it has become my favourite talent. Not to mention the morale boost that my teammates get when I bring their green HP back to full after they've made an honest mistake of taking damage in the most unexpected ways. Not only is the extra stamina of H&S useful, its defensive capabilities is much more than that!
I agree, in random lobbies Comets Gifts is a waste when peaple cant even play together. I had so many legend runs ruined just by the fact ppl running wild ahead like crazy, rushing to death. Cant imagine myself chasing them to reward their reckless gameplay with free health.
Today i saw someone use the shield ability on him and like all of us at the same time it was crazy dude dint die the entire game im going with this class forever
Please could you give us a list of the weapons and extra equipment you recommend for this build? I'm progressing toward it and your build is amazing, but not there yet :)
Great question! I've decided to pair the Great Hammer (High damage offensive) with an extremely defensive weapon, Hammer and shield (H&S). The H&S has more stamina and a more accessible shield bash from neutral (heavy 1). Its great for staggering enemies, blocking to staying alive, and spamming shoves which is what this build is made for (0:24) The H&S also has a really quick overhead light after a shove, making it excellent for hitting key targets mid horde (1:13) while pushing everything back. It can also be chained into 2 quick lights (1:08) they're really quick considering there are no speed modifiers while wielding it. I find that pairing high offense with high defense gives this build great balance, allowing me to adapt to any situation. I swap between them rapidly in game to suit my needs and have grown accustomed to the versatility it offers.
@@spinomitegames9000 More defensive than the H&S, no. A good mix of offence and defence, yes. Having ability to block while charging the flail is about the only defensive application of the shield and flail. compared to the other applications and qualities I mentioned about the H&S, there's no reason to say it is more defensive. In fact it is more offensive. Because of this, it would be a great weapon to choose if Warrior priest could wield only 1 melee weapon. But with 2 melee weapon slots, in my opinion, it should be fully utilised by equipping weapons that are specialised in different things.
I swap between BCR and Stamina depending on the maps and other factors. The best option would be BCR as you don't need that much stamina due to the halved cost of shoving.
He's my top pick, and keeps the grim safe. There are times in-game where unfortunate events occur even to skilled players and cant be avoided. Warrior priest is able to recover from these moments better than other careers. This ability to recover from mistakes or bad situations, and the immunity to grimoires + tankiness & healing makes him a top pick for carrying the grimoire and in challenging maps or deeds.

Why do you take enhanced power and not smiter to empower your 2h hammer
How to have your graphic?
Why shield and hammer and not a flail?

I'd argue that the flail and shield can be a more defensive weapon only because it's charged attacks are also blocks.

@Lite Fair enough. I still prefer the the F&S with parry, tho. It's a very nice combo.
@@LiteClips F&S does everything H&S does, but better. It also ignores shields, I have no clue why you'd ever take hammer over flail.
this is literally my exact build i almost always use cept i like flail and shield with blessed tome sometimes use great hammer with blessed tome
Very nicely done sir. I am inspired
In warhammer Online Return of Reckoning may Sigmar Protect You in big battle with the Warriorpriest xd

hammer and shield comes with 5 shield, u have 6 but nothing about stamina on melee or necklace?

Is he the Best for farming reds? I mean he is immune for grims.
