My dad is literally 101 years old. When I was a child his friends LITERALLY said what this guy said regarding why pay for school when she’s just going to get married. My dad overcame the times he was born into and told me he would work and pay my bills until I chose to stop going to school. I got scholarships for college and financial aid for medical school. Now I pay his bills and take care of him. Heh😂
My parents pushed education. Said we needed to be educated so we could support ourselves in the manner which we wished to become accustomed( sweet dream that.) On the other side, my husband had no problem with me working, I just wasn't to consider it a profession. And he also considered our three children as mine, not his. (He was the one who cheated).

Not only did she choose to stay married to him despite his attitude, (look at the first words he says to her) but she also brought a child into the home to live around this attitude and abuse. If she's fine with being treated like garbage, that's her thing, but to bring a child into the home, knowing that child would see and experience his disgusting abuse...that's pretty disgusting. She subjected her child to this man for YEARS. If the daughter has self-esteem issues later in life, it's all on the mom. She should have left him after she gave birth to a daughter. It's not always better to have both parents in the house, when one parent is abusive @ss.

My dad would be 116 if he were still alive. He wanted all his daughters to go to college and learn as much as possible. He was proud of each of us.
