PAPI lights are important man. Although in the game you can just look at the glideslope diamonds, it’s a good habit to do the right things especially in a simulator. Because of you wanna become a pilot in the future, you will tend to stick to this bad habit that you developed in the game.
Good tutorial for the aircraft you used!
It's pretty much impossible to make a general tutorial though. The CRJ-200 and the MD11/Dc10 approach and land completely different than the A320 or A350. Most Boeing aircraft are similar though, but land/approach with a lower pitch.
Just wanna mention: The weight plays a big part in determining the approach speed. The A350's final approach speed is usually 140kts for example, but can be higher if you are just slightly below MLW (as you saw in the video).
They are really smooth, but I find them slightly late and instead of starting my flare at 50ft I do it at 30ft. That helps me land right on the touchdown zone.

My problem is knowing when to start my descent. I always come down to little to late and end up having to circle around or dive down.

You should also talk about the ILS system that you see in the HUD and live cockpits. But make sure that you set your landing runway as NAV1 in the map. Ifyou look at the HUD in this video, look at the altitude indicator and then there is a bar just to the left of it. There will also be the green diamond that slides up and down on the bar. The diamond shows you if you should point your FPV(the little circle that tells you where your aircraft will go) above the aiming point or below the aiming point. If the green diamond is below the little line in the ILS display, then your FPV needs to go below the aiming point until the diamond is right on that line. If the diamond is above the line, your FPV needs to go above the aiming point until the diamond is right on the line. For the horizontal guidance, your compass at the bottom of your screen will have a little aircraft in it for the HUD and there will be a couple circles that if connected, form a perpendicular line with the fuselage of the aircraft. There will also be a line that slides to the left and right of the aircraft and this shows if you’re off centerline to the right, left, or on point with the center line. If the line is to the right of the aircraft, then you need your FPV to be to the right of the runway until the line is aligned with the aircraft in your HUD and vice versa if the line is to the left of the aircraft. Also, I’ve seen people get ghosted or reported for turning off strobes and landing lights too early. Make sure that you turn those lights off after your entire plane crosses the checkered yellow line that has two solid lines next to it. Keep in mind, by “entire,” your tail cannot be hanging on the side of the line where the runway is.

I usually land with autothrottles set to landing speed (lets say 140k) so I can focus on the landing more, Ive had no problems with it or anything

@@MrMule-vw1lq use manual calculation so you know when to descend, I forgot the formula but check out infinite flight’s video “How to descend”

I wish they update their lights beside the runway, it's just 2 peck lights. I know we can't see them far away but as close, it's confusing if it's 2. I hope they added 2 more lights though

Hey dan! I have a small question😃.So I have recently started playing Infinite flight on my mobile without the subscription. I use the normal boieng 737 and usually do approaches only. When I choose an airport for approach and go in the game my plane points downward and after giving some speed it becomes steady however I keep moving from right to left once and then which makes it hard to land smooth. I have seen that you are really steady with the manual control the turns and the pitch so how do you do that?
I usually like to go a little lower because at 200 and bellow the glide slope usually tells the wrong information and pitch the flare 5 degrees that works for me IT BUTTERS :) BTW when i pass the runway threshold iam usually at 30 or 40 so i can glide it smoothly and land exactly at the two thickk touch down zone.
It’s all about the thickkkk touchdown zone

They land in 60 knots wind... And they land reverse way...
When on approach i set my artificial horizon line to 2-3 degrees but the circle just follows and doesnt go on the runway so i only gain height. Please help!!

Let me tell you this, the most realistic landing experience you could get from a mobile game is AeroFly FS 2022 or AeroFly FS 2023. The landing physics there is just absolutely realistic.

Here’s how to make a good landing. Play X-Plane not infinite flight it was developed as a game not a sim.
Or use appr.
A real pro lands with the cockpit view instead of the HUD view which helps too much.
