How Dan makes the thumbnails in these videos:
1) find random bit on the plane
2) put a big circle around it and add an arrow pointing to it
One more thing I want to point out for call signs; using the "HEAVY" and "SUPER" suffixes! Use "HEAVY" when flying any type of twin-aisle aircraft, such as the 747, 767, 787, A350, etc. ONLY use "SUPER" when flying an A380. These weight categories are used in real life to help controllers with lateral aircraft spacing for wake turbulence avoidance.
also, the landing lights are turned on NOT when entering the runway but when you are cleared for takeoff. Then turn them off at 10k ft. Same thing when you land, turn them on once you are cleared to land
When I flew from Miami to London Heathrow on Sunday, and Heathrow Airport was so busy I ended up going around Twice and my 9 hour flight turned into a 10 hour flight, it was my most stressful approach I have had.
@@johnmichaelreger9233 A
Same I was there earlier on in the day so it was less busy
When Delhi was active a couple of weeks back on expert I had to go around 3 times it was so annoying
4:48 if you use the IF screenshot instead of the built in one you can actually see the exact place you took it in the world in photos
Hey Dan, the beacon lights while yes a signal of engine activity, they are actually used when the aircraft is in motion. So you will see aircraft that are getting tugged or pushed back with the beacons on without the engines running. Just thought I would let you know
Great video as always Dan! Just when I thought I knew everything.. you go and teach me the "hold to reply" to ATC, as well as adding the HUD + FPV to the No VC view.. brilliant! I never would have thought of that. Cheers mate! - Enigma
Wow Dan, your channel is growing faster and faster, good job!
Thank you, Dan!! This is very helpful... I didn't know very much about the lights before, but now I know! :)
you keep the strobe lights on when you cross an active runway
Amazing video! Just subscribed btw
And make sure you flash the seatbelt lights on and off at 10,000 AGL as well so pax know when the internet is live 😂
The first one about atc I never knew about, thanks man for these tips, appreciated
Very informative sir!
Thanks @aviatordan very useful video
tbf i use landing lights when taxing bc i like to pretend they're taxi lights lol
I think at night strobes are supposed to be turned on when approaching or at the runway hold line so other aircraft know that there is an aircraft near the runway
Great information Dan, well everyone at infinite flight multiplayer have turned on strobes and landing lights (not me)!
This is really useful!
Very good information dan👍
Thanks Dan you helped me whith the lights!
Nice tricks! Thx
Thanks for the tips☺️
Great tips Dan! Remember that the strobe lights should be used when crossing an active runway as well 😁
@@LanesAviationYT During day operations, strobes should be turned off above 10,000 ft. Strobes aren't required above that altitude during the day. During the night, strobes are required at any altitude.
The first tip just shocked me lol
you should do a Manchester to Hurgharda flight as when you come into landing its much more beautiful than landing into Cario with nice views of the coral reefs in the red sea even though it is infinite flight graphics so they aren't as nice as irl !
I think invite flight need to add taxi lights. It would be the same as the landing lights but only the lights on the front landing gear would be activated
Another tip: Lomg Runway Takeoff
If you are at LAX or SFO, or any other international airport, chances are, you don't need the entire runway to takeoff. This means you can go to the last taxiway before the end of the runway, request takeoff there (you'll almost never be first in line for departure) they will usually accept your request and you may takeoff from there, just fine, and like how they do it in real life.
Nice, very good tips
Didn't know the ATC one, really helped. Is there anything like that for ATC as well cuz some requests don't have the quick reply thingy. Also I can only be ATC in training (have about 290 operations and know that casual has no ATC), is there like a limit or smth(I can't find in IFC) please let me know
What we have to do to see more aircraft on ground. For ur info in settings i kept (aircraft- very high) level
Thank ypu so much
For me personally, when flying at night, I usually taxi with my landing lights since we don't have taxi lights
that doesn’t do anything either. there are no lighting systems which light up the environment
thank you for sharing
Thank you
Holy shit. This just blew my mind. Lol thanks Dan. I’ve been doing a few things wrong
Hi Dan, when sharing a replay it wants to use the IF format. So It can't be shared and seen by a non IF App user , correct ?
Hlm to speak abt the light when I put my lights (landing one) I don’t see the light on the ground is there a setting to put or a bug?
Thanks for the tip Dan! Amazing detailed video!!! 👏
OUR BOY JOINED THE IF TEAM Y’ALL , WE DID IT
so lock free cam you can't move fast bc is defficult to move around the airplane and inside the airplane if is faster to move so only free cam
This is kinda helpful
hello Dan i want to know what scree recorder you use for ur phone?
I’ve actually been on flights in real life where the strobe lights were turned off when we got to cruising altitude and then turned back on when we come close to descending into the destination airport.
The strobe usage varies depending on country, aircraft, and company policies. The big issue with strobes at night is how bring they are. And at night temporarily blinding pilots isn’t the smartest idea. Some companies have you initiate strobes (on the checklist) while descending or if you enter dense clouds. It’s all depends on the SOP of that airline
The explanation might be surprisingly simple... the pilots wanted to look at the stars. I've turned them off as well as captains I've flown with at my airline just to have a clearer view of the sky, since the regulations give discretion on use of the strobe lights to the pilots. Obviously, use them when crossing runways or operating on runways and near airfields.
When I was in my noob years, I used parking breaks to quickly stop the plane
@@AviatorDan and I used to use the reverse thrust the whole runway until they stopped 😂
Why am I watching this, I don’t even play IF
I have a question how did you get the flight pro
hi dan, any live streams soon?
#16 - when taking off or landing, the runways in use will be green on the map. The runways NOT being used are in red.
How do i use my thumb instead of tilting my device
How do you get the phone
How do you not have 1 million subs already?
5:14 i don’t do that i always place the screen exactly in the middles before spawning
I like to turn on LL for taxi bc there are no taxi lights
Are you adding taxi lights.?
Hey i dont atc on my plane how do u get it
I don't have premium and iv'e always been wondering if I can cross the green line
I love dan
Bro pls help me😖 I have recently downloaded infinite flight and whenever I try to takeoff my plane rotates to left or right without me doing it and I have to calibrate again and again.
The other thing is whenever I press short final and go in it,I am always pointing downwards no matter how up my phone is pointing which causes the plane to crash on the ground I am really sad because I can't fly properly because if that pls help me I know you will reply thx!
Is itvok if i land with no trims
can you stream again they were very enjoyable
1:58 since when did the a380 have a live cockpit
6:18 Wow. My home airport!
@AviatorDan can you fly from Stockholm to London Heathrow Airport with SAS in MFS2020
The best part was when there was that part about the plane.
What lights?
I already knew these all the tips and tricks (Few, Not all)
I have another one fire you. The one where you can make it say Anything you want. Like how I have mine to say “AirNico 9962” or “AirNico 9962 Heavy”
Beacon lights must be turned on before pushback even if you are not starting the engines! Also landing lights could be used as taxi lights..... This is told in infinite flight tutorial video
Never Knew!
Are Strobe lights not supposed to be used when crossing a runway?
They are supposed to be used when you are entering a runway, even when you are crossing ine
I thought this was about the Halo Infinite flight
I made an IF national anthem, its called “Dans definitely gonna stream this week”
we still lov u dan :)
Don't have infinite flight but watched the entire video very noice
I was doing an overnight and the Close Waypoint thing happened and I was going round in circles for 4 hours
Tip number 0.5-buy IF pro
It would be cool if there was taxi lights
i use park brake
I don't have the headphones thing
Hi, AviatorDan, how do i find out the take of v speed for all airliner, take off checklist v speed, i fly in Amsterdam Embraer 190 the most beautiful KLM airplane i ever fly, I dunno how to get the V speed for it i search on infinite community.
But the Cockpit is Crappy bored, the engine sound is like an original version of Boeing 737.
@@andrearnesen Infinite Flight Community. They have all the v speeds, and landing speeds for pretty much every aircraft.
I didint know this game was complex
What happened to the stream????
Nah you can turn the landing light's on during taxi when is dark and takeoff
Yea especially when taxiing at night in Singapore area. That place is pitch black, you cant see nothing, so yea Landing lights help u locate your plane 😂😂😂😂
6:20 *Weather report:*
Now make a videos abuout NAV, there are some buttons that i don't know what to do with them
WoW
1. WTF didn't know that
Sorry but if there is no taxi light you gotta use landing lights.
Dude why didn’t you deploy truhst reverse people use trust reverse instead of rudder 😂
Please try out Roblox PTFS.
I have no clue why it’s potato quality but enjoy
Hi
thx for the tips dan 2 months left then its june

Potato, potato its still good
I don’t think potato quality is 2160p...
