Hi thanks. I bought 2 brand new Ryobi 40 v hp 600 psi pressure washers. I tried both batteries and both chargers. Theyre both blinking green and red error code message. Is it possible that even though theyre brand new that they might be completely dead and unable to be detected/activated by the charger ? Thanks. Anybody knowledgeable please reply soon.
On my third dead battery with Ryobi. Each time I’ve called customer service they say that they will send me a new battery, I wait and call back and find out they are back ordered. Warranty is worthless if it’s not honored
Most of the videos I’ve seen involve taking the battery apart and “resetting” it. I’d like to try this approach first. What are the “mini-jumper cables” you have here called so I can look on Amazon for them?
There is one more thing you can do that involves opening the battery and doing the reset by jumping the reset terminals, there are at least 3 TH-cam on how to do it...
Didn't know you could do this with batteries, I learned something, pretty cool
I like this idea to try...Thanks for sharing it..I gave you a thumbs up..
Great idea, I will have to try next time my battery dies...Thanks for the good idea
Nicely done, well detail..and its something we should all try before just throwing away our batteries
😃

Interesting...I will have to try this, thanks for the information..Thumbs up
Actually yu need to use a DC to DC booster to get the cells volts to around 35 , then the charger will work on it
Good to know...Thanks

Try to burn them out and recharge them..If it doesn't work your charger is bad or the new batteries are bad..
good looking video Nice production values.
Thanks...I appreciate the comment

@@Backyardprojectguy Thank you! My battery’s lights aren’t coming on at all. Will that affect what I do here?
@@robertbusek30 You could give it a try...BUT it might be done!!
Don't just throw your dead battery away..Try jumping it first!!..Learn how by watching the video.. Thanks all
An Auto store or Electronics store, or on line..

Cool idea, I didn't know you could do this..
I found it was the battery charger. The poles get grimmy. Get a new one on line for $30.00. They work with Ryobi. Make sure numbers are right.
This good to know, It could save us big money
