I’ve been to Portugal twice I’ve been in almost every country in Europe but my favourite country is Portugal the history the physical beauty is calling me I just hope it won’t be over touristed
Lisbon is ruined. Same with Porto, i guess. One goes to downtown Lisbon at any given evening and you will be hard pressed to find a single portuguese among the crowds. Some still wait tables, or drive taxis, but even those are becoming scarcer. I may be exaggerating a bit, but not a lot.

Too late. Muslims and brazilians are invading our country. Rents are through the roof. People can't afford a house to live. prices are sky high. It's only good for rich tourists.

In 1488 Dias was the first European to sail to my country South Africa and around what he called the Cape of Storms. They really were absolutely remarkable sailors and discoverers. Portugal looks beautiful with so much history, wonderful architecture and natural beauty. Thank you for this wonderful documentary.

I'm portuguese and for me there are places I love that the author of the video doesn't mention. They are are in the extreme north of the country, for instance, Viana do Castelo, Gerês, Caminha, Ponte de Lima...
Even so, this video is very well done and is very good!

Fabulous photography! And I like the narrator’s voice - although it would be nice if he didn’t pronounce the Portuguese names as if they were Spanish. It’s a bit confusing that the film hops back and forth from mainland Portugal to the Azores as if they were close together, though - and what is Gibraltar doing in the film?? But anyway a very beautiful film and thank you!
Yeah…you’re totally right! This is a beautifully done video of my country but a bit (to say the least) out of place geographically! The geographic order of these places is not the best and the reference to Gibraltar is totally wrong.

Around 13 minutes the castle of Gibraltar is in fact the moorish castle of Sintra.

La mayoria de los edificios, palacios y castillos y playas que se ven en el documental se encuentran en Lisboa y Sintra a pocos kilometros de la capital, así que si viajas solamente a Lisboa y cercanias te encontraras la gran parte de estos espectaculares lugares. En una escapada de fin de semana puedes disfrutaras de este bello pais.
Não isso é mentira. A maioria dos castelos não se encontram perto de Lisboa, e muito menos as praias.
As a Portuguese I can say that what you say definitely isn’t accurate…at all!! You need much, much more than a weekend 😂 to see this amazing country!!
No, não seria suficiente, muitos lugares ficam muito distantes. Sintra e Lisboa sim, porém todo o resto demoraria mais de um mês e não verias tudo. Faltaram muitos lugares, tais como Óbidos, Mafra, Palácio do Buçaco, e tantos outros.
It's missing the biggest natural reserve in the country called Gerês, the Chapel of Bones in Évora and even more like the Laurel Forest in Madeira. Regardless, a lot of beautiful images that make it easy to pinpoint the beauty of a particular location to a foreigner. Good video!
Last time I checked, Gibraltar was not part of Portugal.
Gibraltar is not part of Portugal. It is far. It is near of Spain but it is required by England.
The castle is in Sintra, I grew up near it, he made a mistake

the moorish castle shown is in Sintra and not in Gibraltar as commented and we can see on the far right the Vila de Sintra with its palace; also the moorish castle is inside the park od Palace of Pena

Poço should be pronounced as poso which means well in Spanish and by the looks of it, I can see that it looks like a deep well.

When we see PORTUGAL mentioned , its means "Vamos CARALHO" Yes, we got a very beautiful country , but the people from govermn could do much better for do lives of people better and because of people coming from all places in the world to enjoy and to get some holiday time etc , the prices are increasing , so , is getting more and more expensive to go to holidays in our own country. Is more cheap sometimes going to other countrys instead of for example going to Algarve...

Nicely put together but the low effort put into pronouncing the place names correctly (or at least more accurately) kind of ruined it a bit. With the amount of online translation tools with speech that exist today, there's no excuse for butchering the pronunciation of some words.

I have a lot of foreign places on my bucket list, but Portugal was never one of them. Still isn't. Hawaii, Figi, France, Sweden, Ireland, Greece, Germany, maybe Spain, but not Portugal. I mean, really. I am from and still live in southeast Louisiana, along a magnificent bayou. Why would I need Portugal? I live in a fantasy land!!! LOL! Crawfish, shrimp, crabs, oysters, squid, all kinds of fish, cattle, chickens. And I even have a sweet little poodle!
I bet, just stay in your paradise and do not bother commenting on places you don’t like. What’s the point you are trying to make? There are things I didn’t line in your country but I had no need to talk about. Guns, Trump, fast food, fat people, junks, you name it. Enjoy
