Pretty cemetery. With newer headstones and truly old ones. I always feel bad for the little mounds and stones who will remain anonymous forever. Thank youGV and Sue.
Lovely cemetary...sad to see infants dying. So much of that back then😢😢😢. Thanx so much for remembering, reading the stones and love every story. Thanx for a great video on this Sunday 👍 night. Really enjoyed it as I do everyone of yours and Sue's...Love and blessings to you both.❤❤😊😊
There's a restaurant named in his honor in Chicago ❤ Chief O'NEILs pub and restaurant. Thank you GV for once again sharing history with me! Happy New Year to you and Sue 🎉❤💐
It’s on Elston Avenue. The area was once a very Irish neighborhood, although Chief O’Niels tavern is not from that era. It’s fairly new in the scheme of things. I grew up in the St Veronica Parrish when there were still a lot of people of Irish descent.
Another gorgeous old cemetery with wonderful old crypts - and the story of Francis O'Neill was so interesting. Definitely satisfied my history fix. Thank you GV. Wishing you a very happy and prosperous 2025. God Bless you and yours ~ 🇦🇺❤Teresa
Hello GV and Sue I hope you and your families have had a lovely Christmas wishing you all happy new year. And looking forward to seeing you both in 2025.lovely place a shame it's all overgrown. Love and hugs 🌹🌹🌹
Cool looking cemetery. If anyone ever decides to really clean it up, those ivy plants are going to be hard to deal with. The mausoleums were particularly interesting. So that is what happens to coffins after 150 some odd years. Great video, thank you very much GV and Sue. Have a great week ahead 😀
Thank you, Cathal and Sue, for taking us around this old graveyard. It has history that we can see and some so old we can't see. That was the way in Ireland and many other places. It was a nice visit. You are in short sleeves, is it warm there? My golly! Short sleeves! ♥️☘️
🤔.... Black berries growing on a grave 😳........... 😅 I'll pass on eating those berries. I know they are ok it's just where they are ( it's a mind thing) lol. Such a shame, most old table tops are unreadable due to weather corrosion. Great video GV enjoyed it.
Eww that's some gross stuff coming out of that first crypt! Guess they didn't realise that building them into the hillside like that would cause water damage maybe. Pretty Cemetery, love that stone wall built along side of it too. Those blackberry bushes are very invasive in some areas of the Australian bushland. But they are delicious! Great video GV and Sue 👍
Amazing and beautiful graveyard in County Cork. The first one could be Newman relatives of my 4th great grandfather as he was from County Cork! I'll need to research it. Thank you so much for sharing GV and Sue.
Beautiful graves. It always strikes me how much care went into the hand carvings of those headstones and statues back in the day. Nothing rushed about them - true craftsmanship. Although we have modern machinery to do it for us now, our carvings are nowhere near as good. I'm also suspecting they won't weather time as well either.
Don't pick and try to eat the red blackberries because they are not ripe yet and won't be good to eat. Only the black ones. We have them here in the US too. I've tried to eat the red ones, they are hard and sour. Leave them be and come back later for them when they are ready. Ah blackberry cobbler with a topping of ice cream, nothing finer! You made me hungry GV! I'm originally from the midwest of USA and used to pick these. I had to watch for poisonous snakes that frequented the blackberry bushes looking for prey. You don't have that problem in the Irish Republic, lucky you!
Thank You for another great video GV. I wish both You & Serenity Sue a Happy New Year! May you both enjoy good health & prosperity in 2025. Look forward to more great videos in 2025 & May God Bless!
I've came up with a idea you can pull on your viewers lol. Find a crypt you can open and go inside. Buy a really good Halloween mask. One of you wait inside while the othere films into a hole in the door. Lol peer into the camera suddenly...lol. do it
I am from Chicagoland. When my ancestors moved here from Wales, they added an 0', thinking they'd get a better shake in Chicago with that added. 😂 Where is he in Chicago?

@GraveVisitations ❤️
What is the point of those brick vaults if the person is buried in the ground below it?
Don't eat berries off of other people's Graves. Leave the fertilizer at the gravesite.
I Wasn't hungry enough
Wow...neat place...
Those things growing from the tomb ceiling are stalagmite or stelactites
Happy New Year x
Happy new year!!
Wishing you a very healthy and happy new year 😊

These people died without experiencing the Jack the Ripper media frenzy...
With so many names on one headstone, Sullivan, how are are buried? Are the caskets stacked on top of each other?
Yes and side by side
1:09 whispers saying something like not so close
Weit verstreut, die Gräber 😊
Is any graves have something to do with Canadda?
On my other videos
Thank you.☠
