Hi G V the coffin looks good thanks for sharing hope you and sue are ok I see that sue is all ready going down bless her you are both great working together thanks both of you take care 👍❤👍
Yet another fascinating adventure with Cathal and Sue. Imagine trying to get a lead coffin down all those steps - not an easy task. What a beautiful setting for a Graveyard - so peaceful and well away from urbanisation. Thank you so much for taking us along with you - always so enjoyable. Take care 🙂.
Those steps in several of those vaults look very steep and going back up the steps look very high. I hate to think of it, but imagine having to carry a fully loaded coffin with the body inside down to the crypt. Makes me wonder how many might have been dropped and slid down the rest of the way. That could cause some damage to the coffins. I did see the remains of the one skeleton but couldn't see any leg bones. Thank you for the tour as it looks like a beautiful cemetery.
We have got to get you an Amazon wish list! Get additional gadgets for the camera. Whatca think? Love hearing birds sing and talk to one another. Have a blessed day!!❤
I’m truly fascinated by these below ground vaults. I think families could be closer to the deceased this way. Too bad the one with the bones couldn’t be reburied. Incredible history! Thanks for sharing this cemetery with us
Even though the bodies themselves had long deteriorated it's amazing looking at bones that are hundreds of years old and knowing that was a human at one time Little did they know that in 200 years someone would be looking at their skeletons
Another brilliant video , looking at graves and mausoleum of yester years , I just love watching these adventures and your great narration of what you experience , thanks again
Nice filming, quite clear focus inside the vaults. Time and the elements have deteriorated the coffins. Maybe you two are the first to visit these deceased for many years. Rest peacefully Watching from near St. Louis Missouri
Glad ive found this channel. Ive been told its a bit gruesome to be so fascinated by graves and vaults. They dont know what theyre missing. Good to know im not the only one to find places like this irresistable.
The casket at the beginning looks exactly like the ones at the Highgate Cemetery Catacombs in London. I've seen an open crypt at the Bel Air Cemetery in Seychelles, with two bodies in white shrouds, just lying there on the ground, with styrofoam take out boxes scattered all around them.
Very slick start to the video with the Halloween graphics. 5* the EVP gave me goosebumps and it was very clear. Fantastic video GV and your helper Sue 😂
I wonder why they actually started using lead coffins. I know they were used in times of plagues, but clearly they used them beyond that. I wonder when & why. Mr. Bee 🐝 seems to like quiet cooler places! Those railings and steps down to the vaults are quite amazing. Thanks, GV 💙💙
You of course got a better look at it but the caskets in the US have straight sides and ends. That one had the shape of the coffins. It was wild in the one vault with the two remains on the ground. There were no visible signs of coffins so it looks like they were just laid on the ground in there.
🖤🦇 BRILLIANT opening GV! I don’t think they where shrouded in the one with the pile of stone. There’s a handle above the skull of the seems to be a child or young adult/teen. They were probably in wood but the wood rotted away due to the poor construction to keep out the elements.
I always find it amazing that these coffins seem to move over the years. Flooding, the ground moving itself. I guess there’s lots of causes. It’s always interesting to see the history of those who came before us.
The old church and graveyard look to be in fairly good condition. The mausoleums also look to be in good condition, as were the coffins, for the most part. Perhaps the last crypt was shroud burials? Great video, thank you very much GV and Sue. Have a great weekend 😊
Hi GV. I hope you do not mind me trying to contact you like this but ; When you had your livestream a couple of days ago, I did not have the chance to log off properly, because a situation came up rather quickly. If I ruffled any feathers, I do apologize.
The vaults seem to be poorly designed to me. The stairways trap debris and leaves and certainly water. The open slots in the iron doors introduce moisture and bugs. Personally I wouldn't place any of my loved ones in such a vault. But to each his own.
i hate bees; i once rolled out of a truck on a highway going about 30 mph down an embankment; like on an american police show to get away from a bee; bees and intravenous hookups; my major fears in life
Maybe this is a burial where the deceased was sewn into a shroud, placed in a "rental" coffin and then slid out into the crypt and the undertaker took the coffin back to the shop?
Coffins and skulls just in time for Halloween! Really surprised you haven't got a snake type camera yet, so you can get over to said coffins and skulls proper. After all, thats what we watch the videos for 😂
Maybe it's only me but i find vaults a bit sinister looking and bones and coffins for all to see.Its interesting but i wouldn't like to be on display. 😊 I did laugh at the wasp comment, very witty GV .xx

Indeed, I enjoy Sue & GV working together. They are more fun as a team! Like two kids exploring together; the excitement and mystery!

Those old vaults are fascinating and huge. Those people had to be very wealthy.
Hi GV!!!
POPPED RIGHT OVER!!!
YOU GUYS ROCK!!☘️🌺🍀
In these old cemeteries every grave is part of the history of a life of a human being. Thank you for today's walk.

Great pictures of inside the vaults..Such a beautiful graveyard..Thanks GV really enjoyed this..Sending you love from London ❤
Thanks for watching

American-style caskets are usually rectangular boxes with no taper. Often the tops are raised with a rounded shape.
Fascinating! These graves are time capsules, thank you for all your hard work, and another superb video 💚🕊️💖😊

The coffins look to be in good shape for the ages of them. Interesting place! Thanks GV and Sue!!
Great video, congratulation GV!
I like open graves and the idea that someone might see me long after death ... "Hello, I'm still here!"😅
In all the times we were In kilarney can't say I've ever seen this cemetery till now 👍great video 👍
I wish we could go back in time and see the vaults newly built. And their burial day.
Nice crypts to see and Sue going first. Thanks for this tour.
RIP to all who were buried there 🌹🌺🌷🌻💐
Enjoyed the tour through that interesting old graveyard.
@ 9:19 I think the ravens were talking. Now I could be wrong. But I do love ravens.
I do believe in the paranormal. I have had many experiences. I am like my great grandmother was. She could see and hear what others could not.
Nevermore quoth the raven, nevermore.
Hi guys from Decatur Alabama USA have a wonderful weekend
Thank you both🎉🎉🎉
These crypts are actually in good condition for their age. Such a lovely cemetery too. Thoroughly enjoyed this, thank you both so much xx 🇦🇺♥Teresa
How fascinating to see this old cemeteries. I'm wondering how people live their life before throwback 1800s.what a treasure ❤

😮 si sentivano un sacco di sussurri! Di sicuro qualche anime vagano intorno al loro mausolei... chissà ! Grazie GV per la condivisione ❤❤❤
thanks GV for this great vid.👻

Ireland

Hi Michael it's no problem don't worry about it
@@GraveVisitations Thank you. Happy Halloween 🎃
Very interesting these that voice get back what the hell man jeez keep up great content
That rusted handle on the door almost seems to be frozen in the "rigor" of rust!
Wow👍👍👍
That's Mr Herbert reincarnated flying around his crypt... 🤣🤣
near one of the skulls is the blueish glass of a crack pipe
anotehr great video Lots os history and old coffins thanks for your time to make

Seems to be a lot of expired human sardines today. The conditions seem better than some you have visited before. Looks like it's getting colder there.
Maybe this is a burial where the deceased was sewn into a shroud, placed in a "rental" coffin and then slid out into the crypt and the undertaker took the coffin back to the shop?
A viewer mentioned they saw a coffin handle it's difficult to know
Whenever you or Sue go up or down a long set of steps covered in leaves or moss, I worry for you!(oh well, I guess that's just 73 year-old me).
This videos is perfect fo Halloween on 30 and 31 october is halloween🎃🎃🎃
💀🎃
GV, are lead coffins widely used today?
Coffins and skulls just in time for Halloween! Really surprised you haven't got a snake type camera yet, so you can get over to said coffins and skulls proper. After all, thats what we watch the videos for 😂
I have one they are crap
@@GraveVisitations Bound to be good ones out there.
why do we like this? why are we fascinated with death and graves and coffins? i know like sue from the time i was 4 i was intensely interested in this
What is the oldest grave, you have ever seen, in your country you have the oldest graves I have ever seen
Early 1600'S
They probably took those coffins down and threw them or grave robbers
Wow absolutely amazing
Such an awesome place❤
Like the pyramids mate
Seems they didn't buried the bodies properly that's why all bones skulls, up position
What do you think causes the the damage to show the actual bodies, just time rot or animals?
Mixture of everything I guess
Don't you use the spy cam to look through the holes?
No
💙❤️
One of the richest man in my county is John Leahy, I wonder if they are related
What county is that?
@@GraveVisitations unites states in conn
@@GraveVisitations Danbury conn they owned the Danbury fair was world none
@@GraveVisitations The fair was opened in 1878 closed in 1979 sad day in conn
If you look up Danbury fair you will find all of the information on it, people from all over the world came to the fair
Is any consideration given to crypt drainage?
Those steep steps down would definitely cause flooding
