You dont need Cargo. (Unless ur lazy)
(No offense, helping a brother out since I've been in dark sea alot.)
Cargo is cool, but if you're farming insanity 1-2 dont load up on cargo. Cargo can be cool for villains but not Heroes. It is heavily recommended to get Frayed Lead Lines, to properly traverse the Dark sea.
Frayed lead lines give resistances to waves and tornadoes. I take literally 100 damage to the average insanity two tornado.
You can attain lead lines at sea charts and put them on your deckhands. Go for 2 artifact deckhands then your good.

i dont play the game anymore but im dropping a like for mentioning how to clean water poisioning
that stuff was so gatekept
I mean the game tells you how to get rid of it the first time you get water poisoning

Having more defense doesnt make you more resilient against lighting and water poisoning since both of them are total hp%, sure having more hp will make you survive those darksea mutant attack but i would recommend using invisible tier 1 and high agility to travel around quicker
I actually didn't know Water poisoning & Lightning strikes did damage based on a percentage of your total hp, Huh. Thanks for letting me know about that

Warding isn't really that big of an issue since insanity only kills you in layer 5, its better to get around 220 agility intead of any theurgist piece so you waste less time wandering aimlessly around islands (especially in layer 2+ where islands get a lot bigger)
It also gets you access to high up islands with the teleporting high jump which imo isn't that much of a waste considering you're guaranteed to get at least 2-8 dark sealed chests depending on the layer, also an agility set is 10x more accessible to newer players than a theurgist set or virtous scrolls lol.
Sharkrepel is pretty effective in the Dark Sea. You don't have to deal with any sea monsters that spawn in randomly.
I forgot that invisibility potions were a thing... I didn't have to fight or avoid Atlanteans all along?? I could've just walked right past them?!?!?

Easily can yonk 6 dsc from their island and run away
Last time I went to dark sea but when I decided to find a way out, I got killed by the poison rain

I think beyond insanity 1 is not worth going unless you're aiming for some insane atlanteans or epicenter.
The loot spawns do get better the further you go, but grinding in range 2-3 should be sufficient for a lot of people
for the hull a brisk light silver framing is best (gives 8 speed at base)
you forgot to mention that sea sickness can also be cleared by seeking shelter. it even says that when you get the effect.
I mentioned something similar to that around 6:04. Though, it would be better had I created a section of the video for it to explain it clearly, I appreciate the comment 🙏
This guide is getting remade at a later time, probably update v1.16

I use Bloxstrap. It allows me to modify my mouse design, change my font, etc. Has some really useful features overall

I was wearing a whole Theurgist set with the armored enchantment with all Agate gems, and then a fair defense amulet with virtuous I'm pretty sure.
@@sushumsthe problem is getting that armor set is done by doing the dark sea so the build that’s best for the dark sea is obtained in the dark sea

You can farm in the 2nd range for better dark sealed chest spawns and farm for Theurgist armor that way. Even if you don't have any warding, Insanity 1 is manageable to farm in^^ (Or resort to trading)
i got 30-70 fps ingame is that normal? if u got tips pls tell me cus sometimes its unplayable
Unfortunately your performance will drop no matter what due to memory leaks and whatnot. The best advice I can give you is lowering your graphics and render distance to hopefully improve your framerate 😔
But for the most part, yeah. It's normal
30-70 fps is better than most people, you're good

How do you get A legendary deckhand?
Recruit a deckhand from any random town and then upgrade them on your boat by talking to them. You'll need stuff like gems and random materials depending on their profession for their upgrades^^

What weapons do you use for warrior
Generally I use Vindicator, Triasta of Bronze, and the Atlantean Cutlass. Sometimes I'll use the siren bow for dark sea if I want to farm Atlanteans for Atlantean essence
I just go full gun cuz I like being a cowboy. Can't wait for the weapon customization to happen. Gonna put quick draw on my pistol and 3 piercing shots on my rifle as well as the gun draw XD
Some info for the insanity
Warding is not "required" for insanity 1-3 since those are not lethal. However, they can be a nuisance if the visual effects interfere whilst you're fighting or something similar.
Further on, to neutralize insanity you need more warding than you have insanity. To fully neutralize all dark sea insanity, you need 6 warding, not 5.
6 warding is not necessary. 5 warding is enough to protect you from all insanity effects in the dark sea. Check out the Range 6 timestamp on the video!^^
