Well it looks like somebody is with child. Congratulations 🎉 on the little Mather. How neat it was by happenstance to meet the both of you. My brush with greatness was meeting you guys. 😊
You guys are fortunate to be able to have the time and the knowledge to do this all yourselves. Such a value and building instant equity in your new home. It’s so worth it. Nice job!
When opening paint tin, try putting a flat head screwdriver in and then rotate it clockwise - don't push it down. Rotating it clockwise should pop the cap and it protects the rim stopping it from bending (you might need to do it in a couple of places)
Two comments: A to save the paint, all the big box stores will carry empty paint cans - just get a new one and pour in your old paint, straining it through a strainer or old pair of nylons/panty hose, if you have such things anymore. And B, to keep it from happening in the first place, when you open a new can of paint, take a large nail and put 3 or four holes through the groves where the paint can lid fits in. Then when paint gets into the groove, it will drip down into the can. I’ve been using this tip for 50 years, ever since I learned it from a painter. Works great!
I could watch your videos all day. I sincerely hope that you guys do videos with the baby (and how to travel with kids). You guys should do live videos so we can see the unedited real scenes. You guys seem too perfect lol.
thank you John! We have no plans on stopping haha. I wouldn't mind doing a live behind the scenes, that be sweet! Would take up a lot of storage though leaving the camera rolling the whole time haha!
You can take plastic wrap and place it over the top of ur paint can and seal it tightly. Make sure there is no air in the can. Use painters tapenor electrical tape to use around the plastic wrap to seal it. I hope that makes sense. Lol
