Please don't change the gills! I want one as a bucket list car! You've just made it mandatory! I"ve owned series 2to td5 County*s but my dream has always been a Rangie. This is the one!!!!!! Perfect for South Africa. Anything else except a Gelandewagen maybe!, is this L322 Rangie. Absolutely beautiful!!!❤❤❤
These cars are more addictive than opium. Love mine and all the time taken to keep her going. I've never had a car with so many intermittent problems. Exciting every time I take her out. Love the vids, bit more detail on what you are using would be good.
Stunning. Love the colour and those original alloys set it off so well. I have an L322 in Zambezi silver and those 20 inch alloys are top of my upgrade list.
@@wileyfilms I just get on with living the L322 life! It’s a bloody good life too. People do think we’re nuts! Like you say, they don’t know until they know 👍😃
Great job and great car. Had a couple of td6s myself, look After gearbox and subframe corrosion and they don’t really give problems, any electrical issues 1st point is battery condition as they are very battery sensitive. Currently running a 4.2 supercharged v8 and it’s thirsty but great to drive and actually good on fuel on a run, colour is Buckingham blue- another stunning blue colour when polished.
@@richard3004 great stuff! I’m actually debating getting a 4.2.. would love one at some point! I think the TD6 platform is great, like you say to look after gearbox and corrosion first port of call! Thanks so much for the info. 👍😃
@@Neucardetailing4.2 is a lovely smooth engine, when warm and at idle can’t even hear it. Performance is surprising for such a heavy car, especially At traffic lights when some clown tries racing then the rangie just sets of and goes 😂. Again nothing Realy goes wrong on the 4.2s. One point on the td6 when it comes to service is the crank breather filter, hardly ever gets done and can get clogged up, lives ontop right at the back, left side as you look at the engine, remove air intake plastics, and there is a section of screws this lifts out and bmw used to use like a foam roll but changed to a cyclone type, cheap of Amazon about £25 made by Febi. Took me about 30-45 mins when I did mine.
Good video, I have identical RR, the question is What compounds and polish disk have been used in each step? Would be not bad idea to list all used material , thank you
@@samyan24 thanks a lot! Couldn’t wait to get rid of the chrome.. I actually sprayed them to colour match the car. For the minute they look good but might end up going grey like OEM would have been. 👍
@@supercarscotsman4939 thanks a lot! Don’t even get me started.. they were a complete pain. Ended up steaming and a bit of heat gun then just a tonne of glue remover to get rid of last of residue. Pig of a job!
