    Probably the best kettle analysis I have ever seen! Perfect timing as someone just recommended the fellow but thanks to you pointing out the weight I know it’s not for me. Thanks Josh!

    If you lower your camera angle height it will give a slightly more personal feel and look into your eye. you can always cut away if you need a higher top shot to show the kettles at that angle.

    I prefer the Timemore one. One of the major reasons why I need a new kettle is exactly the same as the last point in your video. The water distance from the mouth to the coffee surface is closet, so the water flow would be more stable. Its easier to control as well.

      Yes we do agree. The timemore kettle is slightly underrated when compared to it's peers

    Great review! I'm wondering if you have any recommendations for stovetop gooseneck kettles on the market?
    I'm currently using a Hario Buono but I'm looking for something with more precision and control which the Buono doesn't really give me that. Thanks!

    I have the Stagg EKG for several years, and I like it. I like your comments about the Timvoe spout, I definitely like to pour close to the coffee bed, not an issue with the Orea system, but a bit harder on a V60 with the Stagg. You didn't mention if the Timore has a "hold" feature for the temperature, which is an important feature I use on the Stagg, Less important, but also a feature I use, is the "Timmer" feature. Overall a great review, I'm subscribing to your channel.

      Hey there! Thanks for the comment and feedback. Yes the timemore has a hold function very similar to the stagg. The stagg has a timer? I didn't know that. Even if it does we usually use the timer on our scale instead

    Great Video. The Stagg is almost double the price in Germany. So it's a nonbrainer for me, especially because I'm living abroad most of the time and don't use it that much.

    How is the timemore when the water level is low? I heard from another review that when it gets below 100ml control of the water flow becoming difficult.

    • @hisbrewcoffee
      @hisbrewcoffee  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The flow rate will definitely be more unpredictable because even to begin with the natural flow rate is already faster than the stagg. But I don't see it as much a big issue.

    Great video, only thing I would say differently: EKG is better for beginners, because once you have a great pouring kettle like Fish or Hario Buono, you can never go back to EKG.
    Does anyone know the weight of the Fish Pro? Thinking of buying one, but I prefer light weight kettles like Fish

    • @Oliccino
      @Oliccino 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      ah I see your new video, the pro is 635g, vs fish 560g. Thats great!

      The fish pro and ekg just from handling them feelings pretty much th same weight.

      Hi there for the timemore kettle we've been using it for close to 4 years now so far no issues. Ekg about 1 year and it's still okay

    Kettle is a kettle. It boils water. Im perfectly fine with stove top hario buono and external termometer.

      hario buono is amazing for pouring, so youre not missing anything except some convenience

    • @Liberec2
      @Liberec2 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Oliccino Sure thing. But that convenience is somewhat expesnive. I have normal electric kettle that holds 1,7L has temperature regulation, keep warm and it is very accurate for like 1/4 price. Everything "coffee" related is absurdly overpriced for what it gives in my opinion.

    • @alang253
      @alang253 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree and I love my stovetop EKG, BUT the electric versions heats up a lot faster, easier to hold a certain temperature and overall workflow is better.
