Sun TV Maran understood this fact and cut Rajni's Salary in the new Rajni movie currently being made. Rajni does not deserve more than 40 Cr, a director no more than 10-15 cr. Straight away 70 cr would have been saved. Rajni should have been paid an extra percentage on overflow only. I am also surprised at Rajni overestimating himself by asking for 118 Cr. One must remember this is only a regional film, finally.

ரஜினியின் வள்ளி, இராகவேந்திரா, லிங்கா, தவிற மீதி எல்லா படங்களையும் ஒரு மனிதரால் குறைந்தது மூன்று முறை பார்க்க இயலும் ( பாபாவும் மிக ஸ்டைலான படமே, ஆனால் overall பாபா வழ வழ என்று, ஒரே மந்திரத்தை பல முறை காண்பித்தால், எரிச்சலாகும் )

sundar : The hero worship is sick of this industry , so you cant avoid it, i feel none of the last big releases made money, Bigil and Darbar, but all blood money ( black money ) used for this production by several Politicans and binamis, so they want somehow the money is used in rotation and give instant revenue, you can see number of movies released in Tamil is huge , many non quality movies are made, like Darbar, Bigil and many useless movies. in AP its not like this.Even Pettai is a useless movie but since its produced by SUN they may absorbed the loss, or DMK stalins Red Giant is released and made good money. since we are the fools ready to pay 2000 /- per ticket, if we stop watching the movie these buggers will certainly invest in usefull ways. nowadays whoever has theaters like Redgiant ( Udhayanidhi) who controls maximum theaters and they book and block in advance so the number of cinema theatres and number of shows in quick succession decides the victory.

I challenge producer Keyar why are you just picking-on the director of movie A.R.Murugadass for his parment ! Why you are double standard with your statement and biased simply picking-on A.R.Murugadass ? Why not actor Rajinikanth, how much was he paid for this tamil movie Darbar ? Rajinikanth had issues back on his head on Sterile protest shooting Firing that took placed on 27th March, 2018 in Thoothukudi,Tamilnadu. Police officers fired into protest of 20,000 tamil people. Noted he out spoken emotionally of these issues at that time. But soon later he had manipulated the caused event into making movie of a simlar situation to project himself into a character taking law on his hand encountering and killing others in similar manner. But somehow the movie became flop because of tamil public unacceptance support of the character in that movie. Please don't take things for granted thinking to see that tamil people are stupid to be fool ! All seeing Eye is watching this !
