Flying Business on a Brand New Etihad 787-10

- There’s something really nice about flying in a brand new plane. Especially in business class! It’s almost like the aircraft this has that new-car smell. The best bit though is that everything just works and is exactly how the airline designed it to be.
On this flight I was luckily enough to fly on a brand new Boeing 787-10 with Etihad Airways from Cairo to Abu Dhabi. It was the perfect opportunity for me to do a business class flight review on the Etihad Business Class and to see how it compares to the Eithad A380 Business Class which I flew just a few days earlier. This Etihad Business Class flight review covers the entire journey from Cairo to Abu Dhabi including the airport lounge in Cairo, boarding, take off, landing and of course the wonderful Etihad inflight service including the business class seat, entertainment system and the onboard dining.

Lol there are no other reports done as professionally, I suspect that I really wish I could afford to have Dennis & Co book my next holiday...👍 but budget ain’t there yet... wasted all my business class travel years on Air New Zealand 😪

Dennis supplies the most enjoyable trip reports on TH-cam. They are concise, interesting, with no overly long face commentary nor overly long boring taxi footage. He's the best.

Had a tough work day, nothing relaxes better then some snacks with a new Dennis travel video
That particular Kuwait 777 paid me a visit in Ottawa in Jan 2018 when it diverted due to JFK being closed, it then departed YOW for JFK and was involved in a ground collision with a China Southern 777 resulting in it being grounded for a few months, glad to see it back in action!

Another great video and a good point raised about advance seating ( or lack of). This, and the inability to check-in online on a code share flight, are the biggest two gripes I get from my corporate clients. Thanks for taking us along.

Thanks for posting another quality video Dennis. I`ve read a good deal of criticism of Etihad since they began cutting costs, but your review demonstrates that they can still deliver an excellent product with style.

absolutely fantastic.
Nailed it again Dennis...I look at Skytrax most days and Etihad cops a lot due to cost cutting...they had another shocking year financially and many talk about how they are cutting costs across all sections of their service. I have flown with them about 6 times in both Business and First and have always found them to be excellent! Great flight DB....looking forward to your next one!!

Nice Dennis! Those 787s look great in the EY livery, and the -10 seem to be very well proportioned, especially when compared with the stubby 787-8.
now if only they could fix the windows!! :)
As always great video. Is that the same seat that Qatar uses in there business class the Qsuite it seems similar the opposite facing seats?
I flew the -10 from man to auh EY J class is my favourite I always go for forward window seat

yes would love to fly them. Doing my first KLM long haul business class in July - the 747 to Chicago. Really looking forward to seeing what they are like.
