I’m having this issue even if the phone is placed on the desk… the “touch” is not as responsive as my old 13 mini… I have to touch the same “button” 2-3 times before it registers. It’s more noticeable when typing. Anyone else having the same issue?
I do have the same problem on 16 pro max! Doesn’t matter if the phone is on my hands or at the table, sometimes have to press a lot of times to open something or restart the app
@@Benshino01 I’m really embarrassed but my problem went away when I took off the phone cover. I applied a glass protector and everything has been okay.
It has been two months since the launch of the iPhone16, and Apple has yet to address the issue. It seems that users will have to adapt. Additionally, the screen of the iPhone 16 is very blurry and has poor resolution.
Man, thank goodness someone mentioned the screen blurriness and the low resolution, I have the 16 Pro Max and I thought I’m visualizing or hallucinating. The resolution is obviously low and the text isn’t clear and sharp. I hope others could confirm that too.
Some times I have to click on the application more than once for it to open ,and some times there is unresponsiveness while I am scrolling or when I try to exit a story on Instagram, like the upper X icon doesn't respond. Does any one have this problem?? @@sherrymalik1851

Got an iPhone for the first time after 10 years on Samsung and got really disappointed. Typing on keyboard is really challenging sometimes my touches is not recognized so i have to type really slow that annoys me sm 🥲
The 15 Pro and the 16 Pro are also full of microlags and heavy stutters. I don't understand why nobody is talking about them. Like the new control panel on the 16 Pro if you tap and hold to edit it and scroll down its like 24FPS sometimes. Another thing i dont understand about the IPhones/iOS is why "everybody" says that here in this system you find the most optimized apps. A lot of animations in a lot of apps only run in 30FPS where on Android the same animations run in 120FPS. Like on youtube when you watching a video and swipe it down so you can search for another video meanwhile...so that animation runs on 30FPS on iOS. Cant understand why nobody is talking about things like this. Another drama is like when you are connected to your earbuds, listening music and than you go chat with someone, tiping the letters feels so slow, like there is a continuous lag going on and you can't put in the letters fast. I mean IPhone is full of bugs and stuff in compared to android. Why nobody talks about this things? I love watching your videos because you speek the true. Maybe you can do a video about those things...😌👍🏼
TH-cam at 30Hz is ugly in Xiaomi phones as well, they copy Apple as we all know. But good info there, I was wandering exactly that, if some apps don't run in 120hz in iOS. Somehow I'm very sensitive to that.
Sometimes my phone randomly slows down and or I assume the refresh rate slows down to literal slow or its just lag on the phone itself, it legit feels like its lagging but can't tell if its lag or the refresh rate getting fucked
iPhone 16 pro max lags a lot. Screen is unresponsive as well. Keyboard latency. Returning it and staying with my 15 pro max. But honestly gonna trade that one for the Galaxy S24 Ultra Apple pretty much sold us unfinished product 😡
I think it has something to do with software too. I tried demonstrating this on my 14 pro as well. Well it doesn't have any issues like that but what iI figured was that when you keep a finger like that and use another finger, most of the time the phone thinks that the person is resting their finger and it'll end up ignoring the touch of that finger. I'm saying this because I've tried replicating this on my phone. In the 14 pro it doesn't happen with the moving finger but the resting finger. when I suddenly move my resting finger, it doesn't register the touch for a while then few seconds later, bam! It works.

Just tried it on my 14 PM and it happens, near the edges. Probably iOS 18 thing, looks like they didn't invest much time and effort in polishing it (there are often lags while scrolling through phone menu, in Photos app, go to control center/+/add a control, scroll and you'll notice it)
Just update to iOS 18.1, this issue still persists. I am having iPhone 16 pro max. If it’s not fixed in 4 days, I will have to return it and use my old iPhone 14 Pro Max. I hate typing unresponsive. Fking hate it, so not efficient
It’s a software issue guys.I just upgraded my iphone 12 from 17.1 to 18.0.1 and it’s lagging when I type just like my new 16 pro max 18.0.1.my I phone 12 was super responsive before I upgraded.Im glad to find this out because I was about to take my 16 pro max back! 😂
The animation lag and stuttering I’m having on my 16 Pro Max is pretty bad! My 15 Pro Max doesn’t have this issue. Only had the phone for a couple days and I’m tempted to return it.
Same with my iPhone 16 pro max animation lag and shutter is unbelievably frustrating. Worst is apple doesn’t even care & not yet acknowledged the issue.

Everyone always says its a software problem, hardware problems can happen too!
Happens to some 15 pro max users too, that’s why software is the leading theory
