Man I miss this era on TH-cam. No stupid 15 second music intros followed by channels life story and begging for subs. Simply straight to the point, informative and functional. Thank you!

Great video, concise & easy to understand. To all of the people who are making such a big deal out of her semi-transparent, seemingly magical see through sweater...I had to watch it twice because I was trying to figure out how her sweater was doing that! But I don’t feel guilty for bringing it up. She doesn’t seem to have any issue leaving it as is, so... more power to her in these ridiculous days of TH-cam censoring just about ANYTHING else that offends their self-righteous perfection. Never thought a video on this subject would inspire me to comment. Thanks for the instructions on this. Very helpful.

You have no idea how many videos I've watched in search of being able to do this.... So exasperating! You're the only one who made it easy, seeable and exactly as your title.... How to Properly Knot Picture Frame Wire. Whew! Thank you so much!!! Now, I can get my pictures off the ground (because I moved) and need to use old fashioned picture frame hooks that hang from a picture hook rail. I even asked at Michael's.... The girl behind the counter told me to tie a pretzel??? I've never even baked one....

Hi, thank you for this tutorial. I always ended my knots the same way you do, just not as easy as you did. The one thing I wanted to add, I was taught that you measure down from the top of your frame to where your screw goes in on each side. Let’s say that measurement is 3”. So when I run my wire to the first side and finish it off, I then run my wire to the 2nd attachment point and loop it through. I use a tape measure in the middle of my wire pulling it towards the top edge of the frame, in this case to the 1-1/2”. I try to bend the wire at this point, so it will be at the 1-1/2” mark, but I always double check it. Then I finish running my wire to the last attachment and tie it off. Ultimately, the inside bottom of the picture frame hook will be at the 1-1/2” mark. And again, thank you for showing me an easier way to tie this knot.

I had some framing professionally done many years ago and will be doing that myself on a few personal projects now. They used a plastic -like 'sleeve over the 'wire wrappings which I thought was a nice touch but I don't know what they are called or where to get them. Have you ever seen these short sleeve-like items?
