Please never take this video down. I discovered it a long time ago, and every now and then I need a refresher, so I come back to view it. I've tried other videos, but this is the best for me. I'm sitting here wiring while watching. Thank you!

I have referenced this video several times, pretty much every time I get a new frame. Thanks for the excellent instructions!

    10/10
Instructions are precise and slow enough to follow without pausing
I tried other videos before this one and they waved their hands everywhere with the smallest wire ever

This video is the most helpful of several I looked at - directions were detailed and perfect for guiding the attachment of hanging wire to a 30" wide painted oak disk. Thanks very much!

Just putting a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle into a custom frame and glad to come across your instructions. I didn’t know that the felt bumpers promote air flow which is pretty important in the Georgia USA area. Thanks so much.

IMPORTANT!!!...be sure to unloop the wire from its container and straighten it before trying to feed it through the "eyes". If not, it will cross over itself, kink, and possibly fracture some of the wire strands when you try to work with it!!!

Thank you!!! I was doing a fairly large frame, and it kept untwisting. Then I found your video and now it is holding! Thanks a lot!

Thank you! I have been 'stringing' my own pictures for a while, but have always struggled with getting the wire to wind neatly. Now I know the secret, all I have to do is practise. :D

Hey! Thanks for this. I just add my first D-right to a printers tray to hang! Thank you for such a great simple video! Happy Thanksgiving!

Excellent tute! Thanks! I bought a pkg of D-rings to hang small pieces for a craft fair, but had no idea how to attach. I've got them all screwed on now, couldn't be easier, much better than the old eyelet. Now to source plastic-coated stainless steel wire, maybe Bunnings.

If your wall is damp don’t risk ruining artwork by hanging anything on it. Small pieces of felt will not make any difference to this, damp walls are very persistent.I’m an artist and have never seen anyone use these professionally when preparing artwork to hang in an exhibition or to sell. No expense is spared when framing artwork as the cost is built into the artwork price, so the cost of 2 felt circles would not be an issue, if they were indeed that useful. It’s also better for small/medium size artwork to pass the wire or string through the first eyelet, double back to the next eyelet and then tie off at this next/second eyelet.

Ahh. I need help! I agree with the damp wall, though didn’t understand this method. I’m hanging drawings in pictures frames in an art exhibition this Thursday for the first time but don’t know how to prepare the picture frames to hang! They already come with sawtooth hangers on the backs of the frames but I keep reading about using hanging wire?

Can you screw the d-rings on the inside of a canvas to help the picture lie flat against the wall vs tipping slightly?

Thank you! I'm creating an art piece on a huge wooden circle and need to know how to add wire so it can hang on a wall. I look forward to attempting this.
Since the front will have a mirror on it, do you suggest I install the wire before creating the artwork?
