@kiwitroutstalker8845 Yeah, these fish were very strong. It's a pity I had a technical issue with my camera & botched the footage of my first fish because that fish really had me running up and down and across. But anyhow that's filming sometimes and cheers Mark
Cracking start to your season, well done. There must be great feeding for those trout during the winter months to be in such healthy condition at the start of your season.
Thanks buddy, and there's definitely no doubt that the mild winter has done these fish no harm whatsoever to maintain that condition so early on in the season

@nzadventurer Thanks there, buddy. Standard fishing gear that blended in with my waders and fishing vest. I never really gave it much thought till you see the footage, but I could easily be missed from a pair of binoculars considering the surroundings. Good call..
