Toryanse which seems kind of random, is actually a highly coded song and music video, loaded to the gills with symbols and cultural references. Just a bit of time looking into the Wikipedia page original children’s song Toryanse is a good start. Essentially, they’re expressing thanks for having beat the odds and having an incredibly successful 2023, after years in the business. They are also defiantly saying, “Get out of our way, we’re just getting started!”
I have listened to alot of J-pop, and I don't like 80% of it. Other than songs that AG is doing a cover of, I don't think there is any other group like them. Even when they do a cover, they still Gakkoify it. The best EP imho is Ichijikikoku, and my favorite song off of it is "Giri giri". Though my favorite AG song of all is "Miyao", though they have only done it live.
AG have worked with many producers and song writers and their style varies from jazz to Showa disco and pop, to rock and hip-hop. I like the H Zet Rio songs and Yonkey and Money Mark are also frequent collaborators. But what defines AG's sound are the voices: Suzuka's lower register lead; Kanon and Mizyu's softer sweeter voices and Rin's easy confident singing and rapping. Combine that with their original choreography and onstage personalities and you have a group that could become Japan's greatest ever musical export. I suggest you listen to some early stuff, I like "SNS24" and "Amayo No Seppun".
