According to an interview with Music Natalie, this was one of the songs was written during over a two-and-a-half-month period in LA with Money Mark, and when the girls told him they wanted to make a song about desires, Mark came up with the idea of 'sugar being the first drug we consume, called sugar high', which they completed. HANAKO is a Halloween song that was released last year, based on the Japanese urban legend 'Hanako-san in the Toilets'. From 7:25, the last part is choreographed by a toilet. At 7:38, they have said, 'I felt good pooping (or peeing), wow.' (kimochi yoku, seno, deta wao, 気持ちよく、せーの、出た ワオ), lol. I have heard that Fantasico is an Italian disco song. The lyrics are nonsensical, and to our Japanese, they seem to just put the notes that somehow sounds Italian. The choreography has also nothing to do with the lyrics at all, but it is interesting, haha. At The last one, 11:19, :Suzuka's 'Nice, isn't it?' (naisu desu ne, ナイスですね), is, I can't say much, but it's a key line from a famous Japanese porn director... Recently he was revived. Wow, Suzuka.. Well, they did have the official song, The Edge which was used to promote the Fall lineup on Crunchyroll last year, and Maningen is the theme song to a live action cop drama in Japan. Plus JANAINDAYO is the closing credits theme for the Japanese film Baby Assassin 2. AG! also has a guest appearance in that film as well. Not to mention Woo Go! Their Nike Japan tie up, and the many commercials in Japan they are in these days. But, perhaps the coolest thing for Westerners is that Nai Nai Nai is briefly heard in background of a scene in the major Hollywood Blockbuster film The Creator and AG! is credited in the film for providing additional music. So yeah, these amazing ladies are taking over the world and starting to gain the international recognition they absolutely deserve.
Hanako is a song about a female ghost dwelling in the girls' restroom of a school (which seems to be a popular Japanese myth, and I think a variant of the myth appears in Harry Potter). The ghost, Hanako, is portrayed by Suzuka in the dance. The restroom theme explains the toilet paper used as a prop in the dance, and the portrayal of Hanako sitting on a toilet near the end of the dance.
