Can I BEAT Sekiro WITHOUT Skills?

- Greetings Travellers, Today I tried to beat Sekiro without Skills!
The only prosthetic tools I ended up using were
Firecracker
Spear
both only during the Guardian ape
Only Weapon art
Mortal Draw
My final stats were

Bought this game on release night. Try every now and then. 4 years later I cannot beat genichiro the second time. Doesn't matter what I do, have tried hundreds of times. His 3rd phase just breaks or something and I get it's a samurai deflecting game I get it guys but phase 3 is just stupid especially since the in game hint for lightning counter lies and only tells you how to do half. I really want to love this game more than I do but Genichiro just ruins it for me by not being a fun boss fight. I've learned every single step and swing in his moveset. Doesn't matter
Hey, I get it sometimes a game just isn't for certain people. If you don't love a game like others do, thats perfectly fine. Some may shove it down your throat to "just keep trying it gets better". But if you don't like it then thats ok, and you don't have to listen to what others say you should think! (Also I agree Genichiro can be an pain a lot of the time)

Bro that is what I accidentally did I didn’t use a single shinobi armor ability and any skill through the entire game I had it I just didn’t use
Same here, on mine I never used a ninjutsu technique once
Me too...I only do deflection. Nothing else....not even any shinobi tools(shuriken sometimes) .
I've never found a use for most of the tools aside from Malcontent for the Demon of Hatred, and firecrackers for first phase ape. There all so situational and I think thats their problem.
Beating sekiro without skill is difficoult, like the mikiri counter is really usefull to kill the Seven Spear Of Ashina or the Shinobi Hunter
Shinobi hunter was a pain in my behind, i think he was the thing closest to me forfeiting the challenge
@@Yetihollow I died like, 15 time against the Shinobi hunter, but the i learnes how to use the mikiri and now i'm allmost against Sword Saint Isshin

If I'm doing another Sekiro video, I would combine a bunch of challenges, this being one of them
In my first run I only like used sword rarely anything else
Same here, I've never found the prosthetics to be that useful
the only big loss here is mikiri counter but that sucks pretty hard lol
That's what I thought but some of the other latent skills and prosthetic skills are really bad not having. Plus mikiri isn't that big of a loss, cause you can just parry the thrusts.
Just wrote and deleted a paragraph about MB being the most OP skill in the game. I'm used to seeing those Ongbal videos where he complete destroys bosses so now I started to believe that everybody are god-level at this game 😅 gotta really put myself in my place sometimes 😂
Thats ok, I just watched some of Ongbal's vids and your right he is superhuman. This would definitely be possible without it but I do kinda enjoy my sanity!

Without Mikiri i am an empty man. I think i could beat the whole game if i at least had that but i am not patient enough to learn fights without it atp 😩😩😩
It Was definitely a pain, but the timings are mostly the same just instead of dodging you deflect. It was actually a lot of fun to play like this and would recommend. (It's easier than it seems)
You can’t use most skills like mortal draw or one mind late game because of how fast they opponent is
I think your partially correct, some bosses are fast like Isshin, but others are really slow like True monk phase 3. It all really depends on the boss!

The worst is when you punish Owl (Father), but he just disappears. Then slams you from the top ropes.

Yeah I decided to just because I wanted to get this video out in time, and I don’t love the boss and how it’s not like a sekiro boss and more akin to a dark souls one.
