The Volvo 2025 XC40 remote start is only available on the app and doesn’t allow any changes to the temperature. It defaults to 72 degrees in the cabin and has zero effect on defrosting anything in cold weather constructions. Is there a way to override this setting?
Just make sure you clean out your moonroof drains. I have just received a $2,500 repair bill for when my spare tire well filled up and got into the electronics, and the interior got a bath. Oh. There is no drain hole back there.

They couldn't even run a shop vac for 30 seconds and pull out the lake under my drivers seat. I have spent the last 5 days trying to dry the interior out, and they didn't even fix the rear hatch door not working despite performing a 'multipoint inspection'.

The rear liftgate doesn't work now, and the dealer didn't touch it when I took it in. They just charged me $1000 to confirm that my car was actually full of water, and supposedly cleaned out the drains. $1000. Top job.
Our Volvo Dealer just showed me the "roll all windows down & back up" from the key fob, its a worthy easter egg!
