It's been a dream car for me... @ Frank Weinstock.... Just wish someone would just surprise me with one even if its not as new as shown in the video.... Heard the drive is so cool and smooth and quiet. Would love to have such an amazing experience with lexus car....
I just bought a 2014 Lexus ES350 all black with only 28,000 miles on it !!! This car is awesome I love the smoothness, the comfort and how quiet and powerful the engine is. I think this car will last me at least 350,000-400,000 miles this one that I purchased was made 100 percent in Japan
William Felty In April 2019 I bought a 2013 ES350 with only 30,009 miles. Best car ive ever owned and this is car #20 . I currently have 38k miles and its been 99% trouble free. I only had to replace 1 TPM sensor last year when i rotated the tires. The build quality is unparalleled. Mine doesn’t have the Ultra Luxury package like this one.. think it has the Luxury package. The original owner saved the window sticker in the glove box, going on memory i think it has the Luxury package... one thing for sure when the current Hancock tires are worn out i;;l be going with either Michelin or Bridgestone quiet tires ... Only complaint I have is the rear seats don’t fold down.
People say this is an old persons car but I'm 24 and I am seriously considering one of these for a daily driver. Very comfortable and reliable as heck.
I don't really like dealerships or car salesmen but when a salesman is showing you what's under the hood, cranking it, and revving up the engine for us says a lot for the video. Thank you. I miss the older traditional ultra luxury package from Lexus.
@@cormaccruz4344 I could see that I've heard Lexus is femine but I think that's just cuz they cater to luxury over sport vs like a BMW but I like to smoke and cruisers all day safely so I take Lexus any day plus I think they defintley look better
After looking at BMW 3 series, Audi A4, Merc C350 and E550, the new 2LT Impala, CTS, G50, and even Lincoln, I ultimately came back to the Lexus ES350 as my final choice. Why? Fit and finish, reliability, size, and cost. It compares favorably in size with the E550 and an A6, but those are much more expensive. Lexus is #1 reliability, again, for JD power this year. Everything is less expensive -- normal gas, not premium; insurance is cheaper. BMW and Audi have gone the route of turbocharged A4s, and both lines problems (just google Audi A4 oil consumption). Lincoln is old, CTS has a large hump in the back seat and didn't have the feel of quality, the way Lexus exudes. The V6 is almost 270 horsepower, its a sleeper car too...lots of power. And by the way, the Lexus mouse and nav system is fantastic. Works simply and intuitively, better than Mercedes, BMW and Ford's systems in my opinion. Audi has a very minimalistic approach to their in car electronics now which is more comparable. Its a great car.
This was the best car you can buy with a decent price and you can absolutely push it to its limits you can fit up to 9 people in the car and , you can fit about 2 large size luggage and 2 small sized ones , and the car gives the range of 650 kilometers with a filled tank fuels , the car is strong enough to do anything like off-road , race , and ...... believe me it’s all comes from experience and the leather is so good that after 7 years it’s still in great condition and don’t let me start with the sound system it feels like you are in a concert this car is kinda like a Swiss Army knife it’s fast and sport, it’s luxury, comfortable and all you want from a good car and have a really good back space if your 6 foot you can easily get in and out after all it’s a really great family , boss , young , all kind peoples type of car ( all the words I have said are coming from experience I had with the car with the luxury package )
Just bought a used 2013 ES350 with 108k miles. Got it from the dealer for a pretty good deal. I'm 29 years old and this is my first ever Lexus and I gotta say, I am loving it so far. Very comfortable and doesn't feel like it was built cheap. Highly recommend this car.
Trust me, this car is actually really nice in person. And it's also a very comfortable place to sit. He should have reviewed an ES with a white exterior and black interior though.
It's elegant and sporty with great response. This car just saved my life in an accident when an idiot ran into the back of me at 65 mph. My Lexus absorbed the shock and her car bounced off mine while stopping on a dime. So, I bought a new one. I get complements constantly on the silver ultra luxury pkg with the new 18 in wheels...stunning car.

Honestly, this is a very good entry level mid size luxury car. Very nice and comfortable. The quality is very good too. Just go to the dealer and sit in one you will like it.
I have a 2008 ES350 Ultra Luxury (5th generation), like you said, most of the same features definitely a generation older. Once I need to upgrade I will be getting the 6th generation. I have 180k miles and she still drives like a dream! Sounds smooth, shifts smooth, drives smooth and straight! Just keep up on the maintenance and you'll have a great long term investment. I haven't had to replace my struts yet as one of the other comments asked, it is lower than it was when new, but thankfully they aren't blown! Still rides fantastic!

Es is so quiet in the cabin while is can be really loud. Looks are subjective but the is is more appealing for my age but when it comes to daily driving, i would go with the es
Have this Lexus and know after testing many other cars, this Lexus ES is the best from all cars bellow $50k. Only people who never drove this car can say anything bad about her. BWM, Acura, Infiniti, Mercedes drives and feels like a old, used car (junk) when you compare them to this Lexus ES. No wonder smart people who know something about cars and drove many of them, say: This Lexus ES is 80% of Lexus LS for 50% of price. And yes there is the Lexus, and the rest are just cars...

Been watching your reviews since the days when you reviewed that red abandoned Daewoo Lanos :) i must say you have done so much with this channel, and I love watching these! Awesome videos!
The ES is the last of a dying breed. It still does its part as being a reasonably priced, for this class, luxury car that's both comfortable and stylish without being intimidating. While some of its competitors have focused more on sport or have been discontinued, the ES stays true to its roots.
my grandma has this car. It's a great car, the only thing we don't like is the knob for the entertainment system. it also has a remote start system that comes standard with the vehicle. it can be activated via the lock button. but it shuts off immediately when you open the door

+Dan Hans I too like a light interior. It's more bright and doesn't look drab especially on cloudy days. It also forces you to clean it once a week too. My MB has a stone interior so a quick vacuum, dash and trim cleaning is required once a week.
When I was driving it home, I cut my finger somehow. Was wiping it on my shirt the whole 1 hour ride, to keep the blood off the interior. I get it home, and there's a Lexus first aid kit in the trunk 🤣
In your notes you mention a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS - but no doubt Mona Lisa Vito, who is an automotive expert would correct you - the SS package was not available, until the 1961 model !!!
So after the year 2013 premium fuel is not required? I had a 2012 IS and it required premium. It can get rather annoying because not all gas stations offer premium fuel. At least not in some areas
I feel bad not buying one of these as my first car, I got a impala as my first. I shoulda listened to Scotty and got a camry maybe then this as my 2nd car later. Since mine is paid off I’ll probably buy a 2014 model in a year paid off once I save up since new ones are 30k+ i’ll find a used one 👍🏽
Even if it's based on the Camry and Avalon---rather than a RWD vehicle on a proper premium platform---the ES is still quite a nice car. That's partially because it no longer holds the entry-level spot in Lexus' lineup, as the awkward-looking CT now has that role. Saabkyle, seeing as how you owned a previous-gen example of the ES, how do you think this one is compared to the old one?
