Just watched all your T500 videos up to date, great stuff👍👍 looking forward to forthcoming videos of this bike, it’s gunna be a beauty!! I love the old Suzukis and I’m no mechanic so find these videos very interesting. Keep up the great work 👍 Well appreciated.
Great Vid i remember rebuilding mine in my bedroom when i was a teen was candy red and i sprayed it blue and pinstriped it to look more like the GT's of the time but nothing compared to yours , on reflection the candy red was much better colour, loved that bike, can't wait to see yours when completed will look forward to it, all the best mM
Fantastic work ! I'm in the process of restoring a 1971 T500 (in France !) and your videos are a mine of informations to me! I have a question regarding the steering, did you reuse the orignal mounting, race and balls set or did you "upgrade" to modern roller bearings ? I'm at the re-assembly part, and struggling to fit a so called compatible set QMP SSS250. Just searching info. Thanks a lot anyway for your sharing. Franck
Well done I am glad your back Don’t leave it too long for a video !! Could you do some up dates? Two wheel spares have changed their name to DK motorcycles spares
@@mcmechanic864 yes I bought my 1977 Yamaha dt400 mx and my Yamaha xt500 from there plus hundreds of spares of them I have 14 motorcycles so they have been a great help to me too

Hi, no I just used the original set up, however I did use new ball bearings but the cups were still in good condition so I reused them. 🙂
Well done I am glad your back

Well I always knew them as DK motorcycles, then they changed to two wheel spares, so they’ve gone back to DK’s then 🙄
