I just replaced both engine mount and transmission mount. They were already showing signs of age but hav yet to leak n fail. Dealer said in April 2021 to go back n replace them in April 2022. It’s November 2021 now but i absolutely wanna get in BEFORE the mounts fail. Cost me $4,000.00. My 2009 Maserati QP 4.7 exec gt was not vibrating or “mis-firing” but after replacing 3 mounts the car does drive noticeably more taut n power transfer from engine to rear wheel is immediate & reminding me how it was 12 yeas ago (i bought the car since new in 2009) it has 45k mi n now drives like it’s brand new. I know about the mounts bcoz of your video post. Thank you.
Mine has 125k miles… Changed mine a while back, still vibrates a bit. The workshop manual says to use a jig to align the subframe properly afterwards, not sure is anyone does that?
I own a 2012 quattroporte zf trannsmission my cars done 90k Km's it lurches when shifting from 3-4 4-5 gear especially on high rpms. I have changed coils sparks battrey thorttle body lambda sensors problem still exitsts . I would really appreciate your advice. Thanks.
