I don’t understand this. If it’s done so openly eg blocking road and locking gates, why are they not arrested immediately? Our justice system sucks.

This all started with the 30 % portion to be allocated to local communities for state projects along with the lack of political will to deal with it and so on

Sadly 30 percent is supposed to benefit the locals, but now its being claimed by criminals?... you need to look extremely deep into the Tenders who did not get the Tender,... a lesson to be taught, do not discard or shred a CV or Tenders application away or in the bin,... cos all those applications cannnnn be investigated

This a difficult situation 😢but someone is involved up there in the government. Taxi Association and Police are involved in Extortion that much we know and they keep changing contacts so that they will not be found and they send poor criminal to come and disturb work by threatening so this is a difficult 😴 situation to deal with. Taxi bosses who are behind bars are operating inside and some they know that

Proper award money......why people in this country would rather levitate toward crime methods rather than hard honest work, and WORSE why we can't put PROPER resources in terms of aggressive infiltrating these syndicates.
There are several private firms capable to get the head of this snake......

  • @PhillipBarnes-k5w

They gradually steel tools from private homes in order to render home owners incapable of doing own renovations etc. People are then forced to make use of unskilled and unscrupulous businesses. Those who are in formal construction benefit because one is forced to hire expensive big busness to continue a job. Small business people fail because they were not well trained by our training institutions. This competition drives crime because work is channeled via big business that must also survive. It is not a healthy way of building understanding between the needy. All are now in need. Democracy cannot work for the economy. The economy must work for democracy. ❤

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. I will always say this, this country is headed for disasterous calamity if we keep going through this path, as matter of fact, everday this is urging closer and closer. There is no way 95% of the population will remain marginalised and maligned in the manner in which it has happened in SA through RDP, GEAR, NDP, Thuma Mina, and now GNU.

People are really really scared, because police are too relaxed, or on the take we are assuming,... coste are already too huge to get security companies or plain clothed investigators on sites, to nab these perpatrators on site,... these criminals are holding victims as well as police and Gov. Hostage, its ridiculous to allow things to get so far out of hand, its been too long now, ... sentences must be harsh, to set examples for the next perpetrators, and those still carrying on... they have taken advantage that nothing has been done to any of them yet... and that says it all, Gov. allowed it and never though it would come back to bite them... such a shame

Cancel the tender system - and have each municipality hire it's own fulltime, permanent construction workers - because the government must never stop building infrastructure. The "Construction Mafia" must keep harassing the corrupt tenderpreneurs until the government cancels the tender system. I love the "Construction Mafia" - I hate tenderpreneurship. They must both cancel each other.
