Simply brilliant Chris! Love watching you work with your warm-ups - how you keep them simple enough to work on technique as you play with them. I say keep them coming!!! Be well.

As a painting newbie, I find prompts super-helpful as it’s so easy to get overwhelmed with all the ideas I have rushing around in my head. But I am also careful to make sure I use them as prompts and not let them turn into hard and fast rules which can close down the feeling of freedom for me. Who said making art was easy huh?! 😉. Please keep up prompting!

Hey Nicola! It's so easy to get prompts stuck in your head in a way that keeps you from being loose and creative. So I completely agree with you that they should be used as a quick way to get us painting, not hard and fast rules. If I veer off course from any guidelines, but an painting and having a good time, so be it.
The video I put out yesterday has 5 new prompts - th-cam.com/video/ndGABVGIkX8/w-d-xo.html

I have enjoyed all of your videos that I've watched so far. I learn something new and take away something different from each one.
I don't intentionally use prompts, but there are times I get an idea or theme or something I want to use in my piece and follow that path.

😍😍 I couldn't believe when I got home and sat down to watch this video Chris, I was out earlier taking photos of a stone wall for inspiration! I just love the textures, different sizes and cracks in them, always been fascinated with aging and decay in buildings and structures and I've been looking for ways to represent these ideas. I just love what you've done here with the simple images, thank you so much again for the inspiration!!!👍🙌🏻
