As far as Philips & Havells Air Fryers are concerned, Philips is anytime a better option but the only concern i have is their higher price. If money is not an issue, Philips always would be a better choice.

Dear All Air Fryers work on Convection Technology. A heating element and fan is installed on the top of the chamber . Movement of the hot air cook food/snacks for us.
I have used various Air Fryers of different brand but hardly could find any difference in the cooking/Grilling/Roasting of food.
For having an Air Fryer in the kitchen is more important air fryer than having an Air Fryer of a Particular brand.
Undoubtedly brand #Philips provides better quality ay higher price.
I would suggest you tou go with Digital Air Fryer rather than manually operated air fryer.

I don't think any of these two appliances are suitable for dum Biryani. Rest of the snacks can easily be made in any of these two but for cakes, an otg is always a better option. If you are gonna use it mainly for veg snacks, better you buy an otg.
Consumption of power to cook a specific weight from a particular temperature to 200 degrees will be same and Philips will do it in a shorter span as heat loss is less than the competetor.
I don't agree.. The body structure n sheet metal parts of Philips are too heavy(unnecessarily). Philips HD 9220 weighs 7 kg and Havells weighs 3.5 kg. So, Philips will take more time to achieve the same temperature say 200 Degree Celsius. More Running Time Means More Consumption of electricity.
I was of the same opinion as you have, till I spoilt my half kg of cashews which I tried to roast in my Havells Air Fryer.
Havells Air Fryer Took lesser time even after having a heating element of 1230 Watts whereas Philips took more time to roast even when it has a heating element of 1400 Watts.

I bought Havells Prolife Grande. Tired french fries - but noticed that steam was escaping from the sides of the basket. some times from the right side and some times from the left. Is this normal - coz i have never used an air fryer before - I thought the white steam will espace only from the small windows provided. please help.

After First Six Minutes I noticed steam coming out from the Air Fryer. So the same has happened with you.
I think the given exhuast window is not that big to ventilate the steam generated because of frozen French Fries.
I think it would not happen other marinated stuff.
I have videos of other frozen stuffs(potato bites, smileys and Aloo Tikkis).
Now I will try French Fries in my Philips Air Fryer and will notice if it happens in that too or not.

Sharmila.. If utilized properly, CONVECTION MODE of a Microwave Oven is no different. The only difference is, an Air Fryer's volume is much lesser n its Air Flow is much higher than a microwave oven. I used that Convection mode of microwave oven for roasting chicken, baking cake and baking pizza.
The set temperatures would remain the same but time may vary for couple of minutes.

What should we prefer build quality or technology??
If given a choice, I would prefer to go with technology because it's not only economical at the time of purchase but its running cost is also lesser. It consumes lesser electricity.

Much Details about this Air Fryer are not available however Havells Products are reasonable good n their after Sale service is also reliable. It's an Air Fryer with 5.5 litres capacity n its wattage is 1700.
Havells Grande is 6.5 lits with same wattage and available at a lesser prize.

Dear.. Price of both the Air Fryers may be same but Havells is digital whereas Phillips is manually operated. Philips Digital is much expensive say appox Rs.17000/-.
Built quality of Phillips is better but as far as working of an Air Fryer is concerned, Havells is nothing less.
Havells have much better features with more capacity(6.5 litres) whereas Philips doesn't mentioned its capacity n say it's even compact unit than their previous Air fryers.
So, I would prefer to go with Havells.

Ankur... You are comparing An Air Fryer of 6.5 lts (1700 Watts) with an Air Fryer of 4.1lts (1400 Watts) which costs appox the same.
Havells Prolife Digi Air Fryer of 4Lts (1230 Watts) capacity costs Rs.6500 whereas Philips Air Fryer 9252/90 4Lts (1400W) costs Rs.9200 (which was costing Rs.8400 yesterday) today.
As far as quality of the product is concerned, Philips is definitely a better choice but if you want a bigger Air Fryer then Havells Prolife Grande is better.
I am using Havells Prolife Digi Air Fryer from last 4 yrs n have no problem with it.
Bottom Line : If you are fine with 4Lts Capacity and money is not an issue, then go with Philips.

When I compared two Air Fryers Philips n Havells, I have mentioned Philips weighs 7 kg n Havells weight is 3.5 kg. At that time Havells Prolife Digital Air Fryer's cost was Rs.6800 and Philips manual AirFryer model HD9220 was costing Rs.9800/-. Philips products are costlier but they are better in quality.

As I have both the air fryers, I surely can say that undoubtedly the built quality of Phillips is better than Havells but I don't have any complaint against Havells.
As I mentioned in the video, Where Philips is operated Manually, Havells is Digitally operated and work more accurately. For me, Philips is overpriced without any specific or special features in comparison to other brands.
Just days before, I bought Inalsa Nutri Fry Digital Air Fryer from Amazon at a very reason price. It was even more economical than Havells with better features.

You are absolutely right as far as after sale service of #Inalsa is concerned. I had a very bad experience too but I thought, the franchise of their service centre may be the culprit.
If you ask 10 people about buying an Air Fryer.. 7 out of 10 would name Philips without giving any special reason for that but I appreciate the built quality of the Air Fryer which I have with me.

Being from Air Conditioning Profession, I know O'General or Daikin are Best Brands as per their quality which costs 55-60 thousands(1.5Ton split Ac) whereas 1.5 Ton Acs are available at appox. Rs.30000/-. It doesn't mean Average Acs are not effective. Everyone can't afford Daikin or O'General Ac. For me adding an Air Fryer in the Kitchen is more important than adding an Air fryer of a particular brand.
Those who can afford such products, then they really deserve to have the brand of their choice.
