Nike Mag V4 Auto-Lace FIXED - Loose laces - uk 2024

On this shoe, the laces had come of their mechanism and were sadly useless.
I had to open up the shoe and skilfully reset the laces back into the mechanism.
I then (with the owners permission) don’t reglue the inner soles, as it’s handy to have that open in order to replace the battery (which will fail within a year I expect). You have to leave half of the inner sole unglued, as the connector is under the ball of your foot but the battery is under the middle of your foot.
Then insert a thick cardboard cutout between the cut inner-sole and the blue insole (to add some strength and help with the load).
