I bought that same kayak 3 yrs ago, made a lot of mods to set it up how I want it & I have caught hundreds of fish and had hours & hours of fun. Still think its the best beginner kayak for the money. We don't always get fish but still can be very enjoyable.
Hey Dennis!! I've been doing alright, my youngin' had to have kidney surgery and we have been helping her with that and taking care of her. Finally, things are getting back to normal so I'll be back online shortly. Hey Grant! Nice looking kayak you have there. Glad you got to get out there. What river do you want to float and camp on. I’ve thought about doing the same on the Clinch somewhere around St. Paul.
Thanks buddy, i'm really enjoying it! I love floating the clinch river, just seems to be a lot better of a float. I usually float the section that runs through Clinchport and seem to do pretty good fishing it. Not really familiar with anywhere else on it. I'd love to do a 2 day float and camp somewhere for the night. Would be a really good time!

I replaced the paddle, added Yakattack deluxe anchor trolley, Garmin Striker Plus 4 fish finder, Yakattack Nocqua battery, Double Header paddle holder. Nice boat for a paddle. Probably get a Hobie or Perception pedal kayak soon
Hey there! I’m debating on getting this kayak but I weigh about 250 pounds, I’m kinda a hefty guy but would this kayak be worth getting with it supporting a capacity of 300 pounds? Thanks!
Hey brother!! I absolutely love this kayak, well worth the money and can't beat the price for a kayak that's got the chair in it. So much more comfortable. And I weigh 250 and I'm 6ft 1in tall and the kayak is very stable, it's actually rated for 300lb capacity with you plus the gear. So I would say go for it. You won't be disappointed.
