will be showing you the MUST HAVE upgrades and modifications that I feel every kayak fisherman should have not only on this kayak but on any kayak. I have tested these mods and upgrades and I am providing you with links to incorporate any of these mods into your fishing kayak. @@cdub_wi Hey man anything is better then shooting in the dark. I started with the garmim striker 4 and loved it for the time being. All upgrades that make things better on the water are welcomed.

Awesome upgrades. I've got my Tamarack mods and upgrades done. Now I am just waiting for the lakes and ponds here in Massachusetts to thaw so I can test them out. For my net I used foam pipe insulation taped around the handle.

Looks good! It's still frozen here, so not much done to mine. Did take the paddle to the local bait store to sell. I like the one that came with my other old sit inside. Longer and sturdier. Di get a sack full of pvc fittings to mod with soon as the snow melts off. Don't really matter tho. Soon as it gets warm enough, I'm on the water.

Actually I do miss it. Haven't been able to get on any crappie out here yet. I'm going out this Saturday to try my luck because the weather is finally starting to get good. Yes I would I also love to start a channel! I did a video of me getting the kayak already. I didn’t post it yet! I’m working on a go pro also. I’m in Rhode Island so few weeks striper season will be insane for the spring run so hoping to get some vids.
Just subscribed....you've got a great setup. I like my Tamarack also. I like fishing with micro spinning reels and long slender rods with 4 lb braid and mono leader. I target crappie and shellcracker and bluegill, but have hung bass and with my setup, it takes time to land them with ultralight gear, but thats fun too. Keep the great videos coming.
That's whats up bro. I'm into panfishing mainly myself since I moved to Georgia. I haven't landed one yet since I got here last fall, just took time to learn the lake. This year is going to be much better. Can't wait to get out there. What statevare you in?
@@fishingistherapy Im at Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Living at the beach you would think I would be fishing salt water, but freshwater here is plentiful and more chill, and not all the boat traffic. I can eat saltwater fish anytime, but there is nothing better than fried bluegill, crappie and shellcracker, rolled in House Autry seafood mix.
@@jamaciadog5603 That's sounds dope. When I was in Cali, I always enjoyed freshwater fishing better then saltwater plus bluegills and crappie are pound for pound a great fight with light tackle and in my opinion very tasty!
@@fishingistherapy You are correct! The only thing here is every freshwater hole has gators. You have to keep an eye out for them. I can't use a fish basket like you do....a gator will try to eat it. I use a Yeti bucket with the storage pockets to keep the fish in, secured behind my seat.

Thanks for checking out the content. Glad you found value in it. The seat is held down with bungee straps that connect it to my basket on back. When I sit on the chair my weight and the straps keep it sturdy and in place.

I actually haven't tried another paddles but I have saw fellow fishermen rave about the Bending Branches Angler brand. What’s your favorite bait for crappie
Minnows under a bobber. Bobby garland blue ice or pink and chartreuse. Finally a twister tail grub any color to match the water with chartreuse tail.

I never though about a sail, I usually look forward to the workout that kayaking provides, but I will look into especially for those windy days.
