Abandoned Coal Mine Truck Camper Stealth Camp!
great video would love to camp there
Looks big enough for air plane to land.
Nice set up!! I’m trying to figure out a cheap heat system. Does your Buddy heater emit carbon monoxide?? Thanks in advance
Would it make it look better with a 1inch in the rear I just installed a 2.5 inch in he front and wondering if I should pu a 1inch in the rear
I didn't put anything other than the front spacers on and the truck looks great. Perfectly level and rides just as good as stock. Still driving the truck today. Thanks for checking out the video, take care!
Where ya been? Miss your videos!
Happy Thanksgiving my friend!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too brother! Hope you had a great one!
We were all worried!😅 Nice fire!🔥
Your alive lol was getting worried
What do you think of them one year later? Still good to go?
Still going strong, super bright and no complaints!
I didn’t wait for your response, I already ordered and installed. I agree, it’s good and bright! I also ordered a two pack of their 300w flood lights. I haven’t installed them yet but I’m excited to see them in action. Thanks for the video and response!
Hey friend. Are you still making videos?
Hey brother!!! I'll be back making videos in a week! Got a new truck bed build and I can't wait to show it to you. See you soon my friend!
👍👍
New sub. Great setup. Looking at a soft top for my Silverado in tan.
Hey there, thanks for subscribing! I love my soft top too, it’s so versatile.
So that CO detector you have, it won't detect spikes in CO. They're more slow to respond and they oftentimes don't alarm until something like 30 ppm. The heater is fairly safe as it can be used indoors and doesn't generate a lot of CO if any really. The biggest source of CO will be camp stoves, especially ones with those heat fins on the bottom. I accidentally dosed myself one day in my own house messing with those for a few hours. Had a hell of a headache. Electric stoves like that little kettle are obviously safe since there's no flame.
Dont do it...2 yrs down the road your suspension will be toast.
Great videos! Have you stopped making them? Nothing new in 6 months
Well produced video Perfect balance of your commentary, sounds of mother nature, drone footage and great soundtrack.
Not sure why everyone’s life story has to be the first 1/2 hour of the video. Just get to it. Good information though, thank you. I love the spring compressor and the information on using the hole socket on the top nut. I forget I have a hole socket set usually until I’ve thrown several wrenches😂
Good job brother time and patience paid off. I’m doing my truck as well. Thanks.
Norris lake sure is a beautiful lake. Reminds me of south holston and Watauga lakes in the upper northeast corner of Tennessee.
Great video! Beautiful family. Can you camp anywhere on the lake?
Do you need permission to camp on the island or do you just pick a place and camp?
That's where I live. I go back and forth between all 3 states often, but I live in KY. I tried to look for the old mountain road that was Cumberland mountain. Its been gone for over 20 years. I skipped my history class at LMU to go across the mountain one more time. I went to the opening of the Cumberland Gap tunnel. I miss that mountain road actually. You can still go to cudjo caverns just above Cumberland Gap. Part of the road past the parking lot is part of the old mountain road. Especially where the cavern is at is the old road. If you go up to the Pinnacle, you will cross a bridge that looks done on the old road also.
Beautiful. I live there. Not on the lake though. It's a great area.Go Vols. 😎
Thank you so very much for the memories of Norris Lake. I grew up on this lake.
Hey man, haven’t seen ya in awhile. Hope everything is good. Looking forward to your next video. Take care man.
Havent seen any videos for a while. Hope all is well.
You get an instant subscription. I live 12 minutes from Norris Lake so this is so cool to see on TH-cam.
I'm guessing you parked at the furnace parking lot
I love finding new channels like this👍
Which island is this?
whats the ride like?
How do you get access to a campsite like this?
Nice job with the video
You have good clearance over that wheel well with that cot? i am looking into getting one but i need something that would go over it just fine.
Camped from our center console, enjoyed island camping, too bad others left their junk
One year later and I’m rewatching your videos. Loved this video. It’s one of my favorites
Thanks so much Cody! I know I've been away for a bit but I'm trying to get back out there buddy! Thanks for always sticking with the channel! Hope to see you soon brother!! Take care!
Seems to be pretty stable?
Great review for the softopper. Am looking at one for my truck so this helps seeing what you think of it .
I could walk outside my townhome in downtown Atlanta at 4am not run into anyone. But when I go camping off-grid in the most secluded area, someone will walk up or drive by at the weirdest times.
Isn't that the truth! It always happens almost every time to me! haha. Seems like I can literally be out in the middle of nowhere and someone will park right beside me or something! Thanks for coming along with me on this one! I'll see you on the next one my friend! Take care!
I just submitted subscribed..Is a soft topper removable and how difficult is it to put on and take off? Why soft topper vs hard Camper shell? I am a senior woman thinking about truck camping along spontaneous roadtrips when I am not towing my travel trailer.
Hey there! Thanks so much for subscribing to the channel! It really means a lot to me! And I love my softopper, you really can't go wrong with it because its so versatile. I've had mine off and on several times over the last couple years and never had a problem with it and it's never leaked on me. Its very light weight and easy to take off and hang on the garage wall when you don't wanna use or just fold it down snug near the back window of the truck and it'll stay there like a tool box for a truck bed. The best times to take it on and off are when its warmer weather which makes it a little bit easier to work with and stretch it back onto the truck. I went with a softopper because sometimes I use my truck and can't have a shell on it, unlike having to take a heavy fiberglass shell off this is just so much easier. Also the price point is much more affordable. I gave $900 for mine and most camper shells these days are around $2,500 to $4,000 which is just crazy! I hope this answers your questions and if you need anything else feel free to ask! Thank you very much to checking out the video and take care!
Another great video. We are really enjoying your videos. Be safe!! We are here in West Virginia waiting for spring weather.
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out the video! So glad to hear that you are enjoying the videos! West Virginia is just up the road about 3 hours from me. Maybe i'll have to come up there and camp in your neck of the woods one day! I've always heard its beautiful up there! Can't wait to see you on the next one! Till then take care!
Come on up...alot of pretty country up here. We camp in state parks mostly but looking more into boondocking stuff. We started a youtube channel about 8 months ago with our camping but we are just coming out of winter so hoping to get more filming done while camping
What a great spot to end the winter season of camping! I’m excited to see the summer camps now and more boating trips.
Hey there Cody! Thanks so much for stopping by! It was a really beautiful place to stay the night for sure! And i'm so excited about getting back on the lake and doing some island camping not to mention camping off the new bike. Can't wait to go on some adventures with that for sure! Thanks again for watching buddy! See you on the next one!
You are gifted. Another great video with amazing drone work. Sorry I interrupted your filming. Lol. Please keep them coming bud
Hey Rick! Thank you so much for your kind words as always! If there is one supporter of my videos and drone footage its gotta be you haha! I really appreciate you sticking with me and the channel! And you didn't interrupt at all, always good to hear from you. Been real busy with work this last month, got a lot going on but i'll have a new video up soon! Thanks again my friend! Take care!
