Bambu Lab A1 ludicrous mode on small parts

My guess it was less about speed, more about temperature- all bad looking pieces were placed near edges where temperature loss is the biggest (less surrounding areas with hot air). Just put your A1 in an enclosure

How did it do? Are those errors on some prints? I would probably increase temps 10-15c for ludicrous so it can extrude fast enough. I'm loving my A1, it's awesome.

Yeah i dont know why some of the prints look bad and the others look fine. I keep forgetting to turn the temps up lol.

From another post that has similar looking issues they said try cleaning the bed and make sure not to touch it with your bare hands. Hope you figure it out because the need for speed is real

@@hammerdinnii Ludicrous mode isn't good for any print in a sweeping motion. Just won't work with current state. But the fact that it can do anything at all that fast is pretty damn cool!

But ludicrous mode is simply a multiplier of base value set in slicer. So why not set it in the first place to that speed once you know it works?

I mostly print at 600ms on my Ender 3v3 CoreXZ, its almost same speed as yours

Why not just use a thicker nozzle? You have fast hotend switch after all.

Sure it's fast but if you have to throw away 60% of them because of quality issues what's the point. You're now no longer producing them any faster than you would be at a slower speed, but you are wasting material.

I wish BL did not market the speeds like this, it's a lame gimmick that only serves the look at me crowd. Speeds in general have risen a lot over the past couple of years, no need for this extreme. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

The normal speeds for this printer is faster than most printers on the market. I also dont wanna here the whole "What about a modded ender 3 with klipper" because thats not the point of bambu lab. Bambu wants good quality at fast speeds and it works. I also dont know why those marks showed up on some of them they havnt done that on anything else so idk.
