Maybe against Turtlewax Seal and Shine and/or Eagle One and/or Meg's HCW. Those types and wipe the chems in during the durability tests. The gloss alone on this one is pretty amazing! The price isn't the cheapest, but it's not outrageous either. I wonder how it will be on hot panels for those of us in the south or the mobile guys considering the car has to be/stay wet for application.
I just bought this on my C7 Corvette Grand Sport in Long Beach Red. I put it on over a 2 month old Titanium coating. First let me say that I followed the manufacturer's instruction to the letter. I used the dry car application with a damp microfiber cloth application. The Poly-Seal goes on very and wipes off very easily. It actually added to the depth of color and shine of the ceramic coating. You will need to apply at least 2 coats to really see and feel the effectiveness. After two coats the slickness and gloss improvement is amazing. Time will tell about durability. I highly recommend this product. It's the best spray-on sealant I've ever used. However, you will used a lot more on the first coat than advertised. I used about 3-4 ounces on the coat, but only about half that amount on the second.
Wow. This stuff seems to have TW seal and shine durability with Beadmaker shine and slickness. Crazy how strong spray sealants are nowadays. Put this up against TAC Moonlight.
Technicians Choice! I started using it diluted 1:1 to stretch it out and it’s still pretty dang tough. Undiluted it’s tougher than a 2 dollar steak. I use to swear by Carpro hydro2 lite but TC is more user friendly requires no water to activate it and more cost effective. Plus no streaks! Durability is also much greater than Hydro 2 lite.
I liked HydrO2 but found it did not last very long at all. Worked great for about a week but after 10 days or so it was pretty weak. For the cost I didn't find it was worth it, though credit where credit's due, it's easy as hell to apply in a coin wash if you're in that situation as I was. Decent protection for winter as long as you have dollars.
I know this is an old video and you've longed moved on to other product reviews, but I'd love to see this up against Griot's Garage Ceramic 3-in-1 Spray Wax. Both of them have a blend of carnauba, sio2, and polymers. Would be very interesting!
How about a “Gloss Off”? Brian, you have one of the most honest channels out there. I really appreciate you calling it like you see it vs trying to keep manufacturers/ venders happy. What I really care about is gloss. How about you pick four or so of what you believe are the best candidates and use one panel. Before and after gloss readings in the same spots. Hit it with heat and read again then let it sit outside for a week and do a final reading. Personally a week or two would be fine by me.... it’s all about the gloss and not beading or durability. A week or two of the highest gloss is my end game. Thanks for the consideration of my idea.
That gloss is to die for. Can you bring back the salty brime they use on the roads in the northeast during winter. That has to be the best real world chemical scenario. Turtle wax and eagle1 and technicians choice ceramic sealants have the best bang for buck interms of prection.
It is used extensively in the Midwest, too. Stuff is a nightmare during the winter when you cannot clean your car on a regular basis because of the sub-freezing temps for weeks on end.
We have already seen P&S beadmaker being great for a topper to bump up shine and slickness but not being able to fight chemicals for very long before being exhausted. I would rather see Technician's Choice Ceramic Detail Spray TEC582 and/or Jescar Powerlock Plus and/or Liquid X Shock Ceramic Spray and/or Torque mirror shine and/or Concours Nova Jet spray coating from the land down under. Although Power lock plus has been around a while, the others seem to be up and coming choices for at least the weekend warrior(s). Throw in the turtle S&S and you've got some great comparison battles ahead. Sign me up for those vids!! Thanks Brian.
Haven’t we already learned everything we know about the poor performance of Beadmaker? That underperforming product just isn’t worth mentioning at this point.
We know the durability of bead maker is weak, but it’s strength is gloss. This new product (new to me at least) seems to have good gloss properties as well. I think it would be a good comparison in that department.
Looking forward to more comparisons. Have you notice any products that deal better with dust compared to others? After washing my black car, it doesn't take too long for dust to accumulate on the car.
being that I've been following your channel and trust your prep work, I skip to the chase. I fast forward to the application process and testing phase. :) Good stuff.
I just tried applying this today, holy crap it streaks so bad in the sun. you really gotta wait for a cloudy or cool day you will streak the crap out of your paint if you use this in the sun. lesson learned
Nice video Brian! Let’s see it up against the newest products to hit the market in the last few months or year. -Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Wax -Turtle Wax Seal N Shine -Mothers CMX Ceramic -Bead Maker
Would love to see head to head between, Poly, Dry applied HCW(Sandro - Car Craft Auto Detailing - use his method), and CarPro Reload. Sandro clamors about Nova Jet. Maybe Include that as well?
I would like to see it against Meguires Ultimate Fast Finish, looks like it could save me some time going straight on after the post shampoo pressure wash. Do they have a UK retailer? If it's not an unfair test you could try it against a hybrid Sio2 option like Infinity Wax Turbo6 or TAC Systems One Step Master.
Daniel Croteau Ultimate Fast Finish has easily lastested over 6 months for me (2 coats) so far with the car being washed every 2 or 3 weeks. It's the best product I have used for gloss appart from Bouncers Done & Dusted Si Edition which I got recently. Great quick detailer to try if they sell it in your area.
You could have some serious fun with this. Take 2 more spray on sealants that have tested among the best. Then take 2 or 3 conventional sealants like power lock plus and test them. I do think that in some ways would be comparing apples to oranges though. I think it would still make for an interesting comparison video.
Won't the Krud Kutter Prepaint soften the paint or something? It preps paint for adhesion of another paint. Just curious as to how effective it is when used to prep the paint for polishing.
This time of year it’s hot, dry and dusty in many parts of the country. I suggest adding DUST as another category to use when comparing these products. Leave the panel outside for a week and look at the amount of dust that’s collected on the paint surface. Also how easily the dust is released by blowing it off with a leaf blower or air hose attached to a compressor at 90psi? This is important for those of us with dark colored vehicles.
Have you tried Technician's Choice Ceramic Detail Spray? Offers more protection and slickness than Beadmaker, but would love to see you check it's gloss level compared to others.
TC is a wonderful product. I’ve been using it for a while now and I love the stuff. I use it undiluted for certain jobs but I mostly use it diluted 1:1 both ways provide excellent results.
Great video. I appreciate how you’ll test products that aren’t very mainstream or don’t have the visibility they may deserve. It sets this channel apart from others who are testing the same old things over and over. I like the idea of finding the diamonds in the rough. With that being the case, I really recommend you try out some products from The Gloss Shop. They’ve been flying under the radar for years, but I’ve found their performance to be outstanding. Maybe check out Hydrophobe, an sio2-based spray and rinse sealant, and CeramicGuard shampoo. Both of these I’ve found to be surprisingly good considering I never hear them talked about. Looking forward to the next video.
@Apex Detail I use their coating as well. I didn’t mention it because I didn’t find it better or worse than some other standard coatings out there. Slightly easier to apply, IMO. The Gloss Shop’s competitive advantage seems to be the high amounts of sio2 in their products compared to others. Would love to hear your thoughts on them if you get the chance.
How does that level of gloss/protection compare to traditional liquid or paste wax? Just as much or just pretty good considering the ease of application?
I'd like to see how it stacks up to the defacto... Turtle wax Hybrid ceramic seal coat. Shine, durability, ease of application. How long does the Poly Seal last?
Thanks for these great reviews on these products. With the gloss levels so high and the ease of application, I would be willing to trade off on durability. I think it would be interesting to compare this product to TW's Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Sealant. My guess is that the TW would have a lower gloss level but might be more durable.
Great find, Brian. Thx again for such great info. Since prep is always key and a quick polish involved, how does this and other top quality spray sealants go up against an AIO like Enigma? That’s a comparison I’m most interested in.
Put it against turtle wax seal n shine. Also can you show how it acts with a dry panel spray on and buff off application? Just curious if it’s any different
Very impresive bump up in the gloss readings! How about a new version of a product you used to use some before? Angelwax Enigma family has grown to include AW Enigma Corona which I suggest do a comparison with this. And also AW Enigma Elixir which is like Carpro PERL now and AW Enigma Interno which is an interior protectant. One product that is available in the US now at Esoteric is Herrenfarth Sprühglanz. It's a Si+ based glossenhancer. I have used limeted editions version of this and is my absolutely favorite at the moment. Gloss and slickness is high and also the protection. Last summer it lasted me 4 months but maybe a month lower with the original version. Also comes in the awesome Flairosol fine mist spray bottle which only that is worth some. Would put up Sprühglanz against a QD or spray wax like maybe the Eagle One.
Great video as usual. Basically I have been totally hooked on Technicians Choice Ceramic Spray. I love it as a quick detailer and the gloss and durability are great. I would like to see how it does against Xtreme Solutions Jersey Devil. Thanks Brian.
How does this hold up against Fusso Coat. I used Fusso Coat on my 2013 Ford Taurus SHO (red color) and it worked great. I am looking for a product that holds up against all the crazy salt and stuff that they put on roads here in Missouri. So far Fusso Coat is holding up and the beading is outstanding. Is this product almost like that as in protection.

Hey Brian, Lets put this to the test next to our Dry and Seal! :) I believe its the absolute best bang for the buck paint protector on the market, applied dry or wet.

The obvious choices are TW S&S and E1 Wipe & Shine. But I'm thinking something we don't see a lot of, maybe Polish Angel High Gloss. But it is kind of a unique product, so maybe put it against something a little unique itself, like Sonax BSD. Well I obviously can't decide on one.. 🤔😧
Can also be used on trim, chrome and glass. Will not stain or discolor plastic trim.
COOL..... GO for it!~ test some more~!!

I'd like to see this up against Turtlewax Seal and Shine. I think the TW would beat it in durability, but probably not gloss.
Just so you know.....you STOLE my request, lol.
Can you put it up against seal and shine and bead maker?
Haven’t we already learned everything we know about the poor performance of Beadmaker? That underperforming product just isn’t worth mentioning at this point.

Vs turtle wax seal n shine or bead maker...which one adds more gloss, protectiion and slickness
Nice video Brian! Let’s see it up against the newest products to hit the market in the last few months or year.

-Mothers CMX Ceramic
-Bead Maker
I use there tire dressing and after a thorough tire cleaning it lasts threw several washings. I will definitely be getting some poly seal.

No problem in direct sunlight.
Have you ever tested Formula 303 Aerospace Protectant on a vehicle? If not, I would sure love hear what your thoughts are on using it.

Interesting product. Application reminds me of the old Prima Hydro Seal.
Is there a alternative for clay ,I have a bad shoulder and would not be able for the rubbing.
Have you tried Technician's Choice Ceramic Detail Spray? Offers more protection and slickness than Beadmaker, but would love to see you check it's gloss level compared to others.
Ryan Brown I’m waiting for mine to come in tomorrow🙌🏼 currently using beadmaker but I wanna compared

MrCamzdad can tc be used as a maintenance spray or does it really have high dosage of ceramic properties in it that will not yield good results ?
Looks good. Maybe you can try at test it against seal and shin and Technicians choice ceramic spray.
